Interviews
Bailey Noble – True Blood
Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?
A) I finished shooting a music video for a band called Priory. They are signed with Warner Brothers. I’m really excited about that. I also just booked an indie feature film called Still Life.
Q) How was your character Adilyn originally described to you?
A) When I first got the audition, she was just a teenage girl who was kind of troubled because she didn’t know who her mother was. That is what I first knew about her. Later on I found out she is a fairy and she had sisters.
Q) What was it about the role that made you want to be a part of the show?
A) It’s an incredible show! The cast, crew and the material – I really loved that it was dark. Most of the things I had been cast in leading up to “True Blood” was aimed towards younger audiences. I really love the dark elements to “True Blood.”
Q) There is such great chemistry between Adilyn and Wade. Did it come naturally between you and Noah Matthews or did you spend some time bonding before filming?
A) Right from the bat, I thought that Noah was an amazing guy, but it did help getting to spend a lot of time with him (this season especially) off-screen. He’s so easy to talk to and he is a really good guy.
Q) Adilyn also shares a wonderful bond with Andy on the show. Talk about working with Chris Bauer and the connection you share.
A) He kind of took me under his wing right away when I showed up. He’s so funny and I think we understand each other in a cool way. Off-screen he is kind of like a father figure, too. It’s really cool to have that with somebody on set. he’s such an awesome guy and he’s given me so much advice about life and acting. He’s very grounded, I would say.
Q) What mementos from “True Blood” did you take home from set?
A) I took my chair-back and I took a pair of Adilyn’s earrings that she had worn in a couple of episodes. The vampires got to keep their teeth from set, but I’ll always know that I got to keep Adilyn’s power.
Q) What do you hope the legacy is for “True Blood?
A) I hope it lives on. I think people are going to be watching the show forever. I hope that people continue to love it forever.
Q) What can tease is in store for Adilyn in these final episodes?
A) I hope that things get more normal for her. She’s seen a lot of crazy things this season. I can’t tell you how it ends or what happens with my character, but I’m hoping that it can kind lf come back to a normal level for her.
Q) What have been your most memorable moments from filming Season 7 of “True Blood?”
A) There are so many moments! Even though night shoots are really hard sometimes I loved them so much because we all kind of hit a wall at some point where the giggles would start. You are just so tired and delirious that you just can’t help to laugh. I really, really love those moments. Just getting to be on set with everybody, I’m going to miss spending time with them all.
Q) What was the last day on set like for you?
A) The last day on set was really emotional for me because I hadn’t really thought about it ending up until then. It was really nice because it was a big scene so a lot of characters were there. We had a series wrap for us, everyone just hugged and expressed so much love for each other. It was really special and I’ll never forget that.
Q) You are a part of social media. What is your fan interaction like and do you enjoy the instant fan feedback you receive when episodes air?
A) I love that I get to talk to them on Twitter and Instagram. I think it’s really cool because they love the characters so much. It’s cool to see the way they respond.
Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?
A) Thank you! It means so much to see all of the love and support on Twitter and Instagram. It’s so nice to see that the work that we do is appreciated.
