Vincent (Jay Ryan) was caught between a rock and an even harder place as not only did he have beast hunters still pursuing him, but now he was also a wanted fugitive sought for questioning in the murder of a DHS agent. So when the episode opens, Vincent is discussing the situation with Cat (Kristin Kreuk) in their apartment when armed agents suddenly burst through the door. Vincent beasts out and the agents open fire while Cat screams. Fortunately, it was just Vincent’s nightmare. Unfortunately, he still faces being on the Most Wanted list.

Cat is being questioned by DHS Agent Morgan (Donnie Keshawarz) about her husband’s involvement with the agency and Deputy Secretary Hill’s murder. They remind her that she could be charged with aiding and abetting if she knows where Vincent is and don’t come forward.

Meanwhile, JT (Austin Basis) is checking DHS’s computers for anything that will help clear his friend’s name. He is talking with Tess (Nina Lisandrello) on the phone and she warns him to be careful as DHS will be keeping an eye on anyone who knew Vincent. At that moment, agents knock on JT’s door and he scrambles to wipe his hard drive clean. When he arrives at DHS headquarters for questioning, JT sees Heather (Nicole Anderson) already there. Though not entirely convinced that they have no information on Vincent Keller, JT and Tess are released.

Cat is talking with Tess on the phone about JT and Heather being questioned by DHS. In the middle of their conversation, there is a whoosh and the swivel chair in her apartment in which Cat had been sitting in a minute ago is suddenly empty. Seconds later, she’s in Vincent’s arms on a rooftop. Vincent brought her there so they could talk privately. Vincent is frustrated that he is again being chased, but comes up with a plan to help clear his name and find the beast bounty hunters. To that end, he tells Cat to return to work at DHS where she will go undercover to find out what they know while convincing them that she is on their side.

The next day, Cat is talking with Tess on the phone and telling her about Vincent’s plan for her to go undercover back to work at the DHS. Tess is worried about her friend taking such a dangerous risk.

Meanwhile, JT purchases new computers to replace the ones that were confiscated by DHS to continue with his investigation to help Vincent. He receives a call and is surprised to hear Vincent’s voice. Apparently with his beast speed, Vincent was able to catch up to his friend and place a burner phone in JT’s pocket after he left DHS headquarters. Vincent requests that JT obtain some medical supplies for him. “Are you hurt?” JT asks concerned. No, Vincent answers, but he intends to use them on someone he plans to hurt. Vincent corners a man (Tahmoh Penikett) he had been tracking and knocks him out.

Later, after he has the requested items, JT receives another call from Vincent who tells him to sit in the chair by the window. Vincent plays ‘Superbeast’ and faster than a speeding bullet whisks JT out of the chair and takes him to his tunnel lair where he’s been hiding. JT sees the man that Vincent had knocked out earlier. Vincent reveals that this man is a beast hunter. “You can’t go around kidnapping people and beating the crap out of them. It’s not right” JT says, shocked that Vincent is seeming to have given up his moral compass in order to get information. But Vincent doesn’t care as he injects the man with a truth serum that gets him to reveal all his past transgressions, including robberies in his youth. He also gives up the important information that Vincent needed to know, the company that the man works for who hired him to kill beasts.

Meanwhile, Cat is telling Agent Morgan that she loves her husband and still believes in his innocence, but she also knows he has emotional issues and needs help. She wants him to trust her and the authorities by turning himself in as she’s certain the truth will come out. Cat adds that if she could be given access to the late Deputy Secretary Hill’s files, it will help her case with Vincent. At home, Cat tells Tess and Heather the same thing she told Morgan, who is listening to their conversation due to a planted electronic listening device.

Back at DHS headquarters, from Hill’s files Cat learns that the agent had hired a private security firm to work as bounty hunters.

Vincent carries the man he got the company’s information from back to the place, dropping him to the floor, then requests a meeting with the man in charge. That’s Peter Braxton (Marc Singer, who has prior experience with beasts from his portrayal in “Beastmaster”). Vincent tells Braxton that he has special skills that makes him very qualified to be a bounty hunter. Very smart of Vincent, thinking outside the box to infiltrate his enemies via Trojan Horse style.

At DHS, Cat says to Agent Morgan that now that she’s looked at Hill’s files, she’s more than certain that the right thing is for Vincent to turn himself in. So, she calls her husband and arranges for a meeting.

Heather wants to prove to Kyle (Michael Roark) that she trusts him so she tells him that Vincent was working with DHS, but makes him promise not to tell anyone. Kyle promises and thanks Heather for her trust. But as they hug, he has a strange look on his face. Did Heather make a mistake?

At the meeting with Vincent, he senses Cat’s accelerated heart beat and asks what’s wrong. Suddenly, DHS agents with guns move in from all sides. “I can’t believe you did this to us!” Vincent shouts before running off.

Cat later meets with JT and Tess who wonder how the plan went with Vincent. She says that it worked, she’s sure that DHS trusts her loyalty now that she attempted to turn in her own husband. She is worried though because she never got the chance to clue Vincent in on the plan. She prays Vincent trusts her love for him that she would never betray him.

Later at Vincent’s tunnel lair, he assures Cat that he knew it was part of the plan. Cat can’t believe that a few short weeks ago they were on their honeymoon. Will they ever get their lives back?
