Q) How would you best describe your sound?

A) If Justin Bieber had a Sailor mouth and a Harley

Q) Who are your greatest musical influences?

A) It’s a big range from Aerosmith to MXPX. Super huge pop punk fan growing up, but I also have a Aerosmith tattoo on my ass for a reason, ya know?

Q) Tell us the story behind your current single “Drive.”

A) Fell in love at the Rainbow Room and I totally suck at flirting and made myself sound like an idiot, but somehow got this girl’s number who was from Florida. It didn’t work out in the end. Listen to it. It quite literally tells you the story.

Q) You also shot a music video for “Drive.” How did you come up with the concept for the video?

A) It honestly happened naturally. I couldn’t figure out what girl I wanted to tell the story with, so last minute my friend let me borrow his girlfriend who is actually one of my best friends so the chemistry was already there. That entire video behind the scenes was us cracking jokes and just candid shots and it ended up matching the nostalgic vibe that I wanted perfectly.

Q) Hot Money is your debut EP. Before that, you were writing and working for other artists including Yelawolf, Every Time I Die, Mitch Lucker and Danny Worsnop. How did you experience of writing and performing for other musicians help you when it came time to write your own album?

A) I was doing things with all those artists in different ways in the industry. Writing was mostly with Danny and Mitch. Honestly, I don’t think anything writing wise came from working with any of them in in way. I have my own demons and I deal with them one hundred percent differently than anyone I have worked with or played with.

Q) Which song off of Hot Money was the most fun to record and why?

A) “” We wrote all the music and vocals and tracked that whole song from nothing to what it is in like three hours. Just one of those “ON” kinda days. And it bops.

Q) What do you hope fans take away from the new album?

A) Whatever they want. I write about my own issues. If one of the songs connects with anyone I guess they will realize they are not alone.

Q) Have you done or have any plans to do live shows via social media to promote Hot Money?

A) I’ve definitely thought about it, but I also don’t really want my first show as a solo artist to be like that. I’ll get a completely different feel playing for cameras instead of a crowd. I’ll probably hate every second of it and quick music.

Q) You had a very musically-influenced childhood, mainly due to your mom working with entertainers and your father being a musician. What was the best advice that they gave you when you decided to pursue your own musical career?

A) Keep finding ways to make money and invest when I do.

Q) In your Inked Magazine interview, you mentioned getting to meet a lot of musicians because your mom worked as a massage therapist for arena & stadium tours that came through the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. What was one of your favorite celebrity moments?

A) So many. One that comes to mind, I was skateboarding backstage around the arena. The guitar player of Sugar Ray put his like three dollar sunglasses on top of this box and told me if I Ollied over the box I could have his glasses. I totally f*ckd up and didn’t get the glasses and I probs scratched the f*ck out of them but whatever. Being twelve years old that was a cool opportunity. Right after that I ollied right over it first try. Pressure, I tell ya.

Q) What was the first album you ever owned?

A) I had like every Aerosmith Tape growing up. But the first CD I ever bought was Bush Sixteen Stone. That’s all I know

Q) Because you had the chance to write with others and are now an artist on your own merit, who would you love to collaborate with on a music project in the future?

A) Umm, I actually have a list in my phone of like hundred. A lot of them are actually homies, so I just gotta reach out. I think Jacoby from Papa Roach would be rad. My Cuz ModSun, for sure. Maybe some rap legend like The Game or something, but I mean I’ll probs just try to work with some TikTok kid because ya know… streams = money.

Q) You have quite an extensive collection of tattoos! What have been some of the biggest factors on how you decide to ink on your body?

A) I honestly don’t care. Never really have. Just get something when I feel like it. If I want it then I’ll get it. Might hate it down the road, but I just don’t put too much thought into any of them.

Q) What would you like to share with your fans & supporters of your music?

A) More music.
