Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Hey guys, thanks for the invite! My sound blends melodic techno and tech house, often layered with catchy pop vocals. I always aim for strong, impactful melodies combined with detailed sound design to create something memorable.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Right now, there’s some incredible energy in the electronic scene. I have a lot of respect for artists like John Summit, Mau P, Adriatique, Anyma and many others who are really pushing things forward.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Uber On Call?”

A) As soon as I heard this incredibly catchy and sassy topline, I knew I had to build a bold, in-your-face club instrumental around it—something that gave the vocal plenty of room to shine and grab every raver’s attention. I started testing it live around February, and the crowd reactions were massive every single time I dropped it. So, it was pretty clear to me: this track had to come out right after “I WILL WAIT.”

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I crafted this track with the club in mind — it’s got a badass edge and definitely marks a bit of a departure from my usual sound. But it fits seamlessly into my DJ sets. The response from fans has been amazing, probably because it’s not what they expected from me — and that surprise element makes it even more exciting.

Q) When it comes to crafting your songs, do you let the featured artists handle the lyrics or do you work together to create the full song?

A) I always work closely with the artists I collaborate with — that connection is essential to me. Music, at its core, is about sharing and creating together. That’s where the magic happens. [smiles]

Q) With “Uber On Call” out now, is this a prelude to a full album or EP?

A) It’s definitely possible, but for now I’m more into releasing music track by track. I love the freedom to create and drop songs quickly. I’ve got a bunch of tracks I could release, but I’m always working on new ones—so I’m not quite sure yet which ones will make the cut! [laughs]

Q) What can fans expect from a live Boris Way performance?

A) I spend a lot of time throughout the year crafting my DJ sets—remixing my most well-known tracks, editing current favorites and shaping the overall flow. My goal is always to deliver something unique and powerful, creating a real journey from the first track to the last.

Q) Where are some of your favourite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) When it comes to festivals, I really love playing at Plages Électroniques in Cannes — the vibe there is truly unique. Of course, there are so many other amazing places, too. For clubs, I’ve got a soft spot for Amnesia in Cap d’Agde. I also played a boat party in Germany last year and the crowd was absolutely incredible. I love Dubai and Ibiza as well — I’ll be living on the island for a while soon, so you can definitely expect some exciting things coming from that side! [smiles]

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I don’t really have a dream artist in mind for a collaboration — I prefer to see how things unfold and who I connect with along the way. I come across so many incredible talents, whether they’re big names or more under the radar. For me, it’s never about the name — it’s all about the result.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Right now, I’m listening to a lot of Rufus Du Sol. It’s not necessarily what I play, but I love listening to it during my travels on the way to my shows.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Yeah, I’m definitely connected to social media. Over the past year, my platforms have grown a lot and it’s been amazing to share tracks, play them live and instantly see how people react. That real-time feedback from the audience is such a powerful feeling.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) First of all, a huge thank you — because without you, none of this would be possible. I put my heart into everything I create, always aiming to keep it real and made with love. So, truly, thank you for all the support.
