Q) What is new this season on “Family Reunion” and with Mazzi?

 

A) This season you are going to see a lot of new crazy shenanigans with the McKellan family as well as some new guest stars. I know the audience is going to love the new episodes! You will also see Mazzi grow as a character and have a lot more fun and heartwarming moments with his family.

 

 

Q) What was your audition like for the series?

 

A) After the initial audition, I went to a few more callbacks and then eventually the screen/chemistry test, which is where I was grouped with the people auditioning for my siblings. It was definitely a crazy process and it was really cool to get to read with my onset siblings for the first time.

 

 

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

 

A) I loved the show the second I got the audition. There aren’t a lot of shows out there that tell important stories like “Family Reunion” does and that is something that drew me in. I am honored to be a part of this show.

 

 

Q) How was Mazzi originally described to you?

 

A) Mazzi was described as a music lover with a charming personality. It is definitely a fun role to step into due to the fact that he loves music as much as I do.

 

 

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on “Family Reunion?”

 

A) I was definitely familiar with my costars. I had seen their previous work in TV shows and movies, so it was a honor to be able to work and learn from them.

 

 

Q) What continues to challenge you about portraying Mazzi?

 

A) Something that continues to challenge me is channeling the emotion that is inside of Mazzi because he definitely has some heartfelt moments in the show. Being in a scene with my costars really helps me tap into the role even more.

 

 

Q) If you could write a Mazzi-centric episode what would you like to see happen?

 

A) If I could write a Mazzi-centric episode I would definitely make it all about music! Music is a very important part of my personality and Mazzi’s as well. I would either be in a dream sequence or at a place where I would be sharing the stage with Bruno Mars and some of my other favorite artists.

 

 

Q) Who would you love to see guest star on the show?

 

A) It would be amazing to have someone like Michael B. Jordan guest star on the show because he is a huge inspiration to me as an actor.

 

 

Q) What are some upcoming episodes that fans of the series should look out for?

 

A) While I can’t give away too much, I can say that the fans will see some musical episodes and a lot more fun for the entire family.

 

 

Q) What is it about “Family Reunion” that continues to make it such a fan favorite series?

 

A) “Family Reunion” can open up a lot of conversations between families and hopefully can bring them closer together. There are also so many hilarious moments that keep everyone laughing!
