Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I’d describe my sound as Americana, Acoustic Pop.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I love Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Sabrina Carpenter, Lizzy McAlpine and Olivia Rodrigo.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Light of Day.”

A) “Light of Day” is about someone coming into your life that makes it better in every aspect by just being in it.

Q) What makes “Light of Day” the perfect follow up to your song “Hourglass?”

A) “Light of Day” is a great follow up to “Hourglass” because I think it displays my songwriting style and how I like to write songs with very prominent premises.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think the fans will connect to the familiarity of the song and the meaning of it will hopefully be relatable.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I come up with a premise most often before any lyrics or music. If I have a good premise, then I’ll have a good song.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I definitely have a big say in production and how it will sound ultimately. My producer always knows what will sound good and that makes it easy for me.

Q) Your upcoming EP If We’re Being Honest comes out soon. What are some themes you will be exploring on it?

A) I explore themes of heartbreak in all aspects. Falling in love, knowing you’re about to lose it, losing someone, and after your relationship ending how you heal and cope.

Q) Certainly, all of the tracks are your “babies,” but is there a particular song off this EP that holds a special significance for you?

A) The song “Ruin It” definitely hits a nerve.

Q) You’ve performed all across New York and we’d love to see you perform some of the songs off If We’re Being Honest. Will there be some upcoming shows and which songs are you looking forward to showcasing live?

A) There will be some shows coming up like The Bitter End November 7th in NYC, and I’m looking forward to playing my unreleased music!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift definitely.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m currently listening to Kacey Musgraves because her music is very spiritual and earthy and I feel like that has been an inspiration of my writing lately.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) It’s so important because fans are more invested in who you are nowadays than your music, and social media allows that connection.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I’d like to say thank you so much because this has been my dream ever since I can remember, and your supporting my music is helping me achieve my goals!
