Q: Shiri Appleby just directed an episode. Is that something you would ever be interested in doing as well?

A: Yes, definitely. I’ve thrown my name into the hat for next season, so we’ll see.

Q: For season three, if you were to move away from “The Bachelor”-like format, what reality show would you like to see produced?

A: It’s funny because now I feel like we’re all trying to throw out ideas. I think it would be kind of funny to do Bachelor in Paradise because then we could bring back fan favorites from the last two seasons. Then, we could bring fan favorites that people have never seen from [Everlasting] seasons three and four—then you have even more insanity because you already know what they’re capable of. There’s that, and look, there’s also the idea that we could do like Survivor because then we could all go to an island. This is what I love about this show; we can kind of do anything. We could also just make up one of our own, and that could be god knows what.

Q: If you were to cast your ideal celebrity to be on the show, who would you love to work with?

A: Oh my gosh, like a celebrity that would actually be on a reality show?

Q: Just anybody. Dream contestant.

A: How about Jeffrey Dean Morgan to be a suitor?

Q: I love it. We’re heard a lot about your relationship with Rachel and Chet, but can you tease your relationships with Jay and Madison and maybe Rachel’s mom with that cliffhanger at the end there?

A: Well, there’s a lot of turmoil, obviously, with Chet. A lot of anger. A lot of pushing him away and trying to keep him away. Madison (Genevieve Buechner) is climbing the ladder and Quinn, of course, doesn’t feel like she deserves it at all, but yet we’re kind of turning her into our own little monster which is fascinating to watch. Jay, along with everybody else, is trying to climb up the ladder and it’s not making them nice people. So, that just kind of shows you that on that show you can’t be a nice person to get ahead. Everybody tries to do it a really nice way, then they fail, and so then they’re just like, “Well, we’ll just do it the way Quinn does it to succeed.” And so I’m like, “See, I told you!”

Q: What character are you most like in real life? I’m assuming you’re not a Quinn.

A: I’m not! At all! You know what’s funny? I’d probably say I’m most like Jay.
