Cory Singer – I Still Love You

Q) How would you describe your sound?
A) Singer-songwriter, love ballads and storytelling through different genres of music
Q) Who are some of your musical influences?
A) David Foster, Neil Young, Dave Grohl
Q) You killed it on “Kandi Factory,” winning the grand prize. What advice did iconic musician Kandi Burruss offer that you’ve taken to heart and carried with you as a musician?
A) Write, Write, Write
Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Chance of a Lifetime (The Proposal).”
A) Well, it is actually a rewritten version of my original “Chance of a Lifetime,” which has a bit of a reverse view. I will be releasing that in the near future.
Q) You are a part of social media, and the song was recently released. What kind of fan response have you been receiving so far to the single?
A) I am releasing so much music right now. I am grateful for all of the support I am receiving. My fans are so supportive and urge me to keep making music.
Q) How does the video for your new song “I Still Love You” play into the message behind it?
A) My new release “I Still Love You” has a video and it is reflective of the song I wrote and the heartbreak I feel over breaking up with my ex.
Q) What is your songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?
A) I typically write from melodies but throw a topic at me and I will go there as well.
Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?
A) I work 100% with my producers. We are a team.
Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?
A) Yes, either November or January 2023
Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?
A) I like to perform anywhere, large venues and small intimate venues.
Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?
A) David Foster
Q) Are there any plans for you to return to Broadway or take part in any musicals in the near future?
A) Yes, when the opportunity presents itself.
Q) “Let’s Normalize Autism” is such a great message. What would you like more people to know about autism to help take away the stigma some have of it?
A) We are all different and have different levels of support needs. Educate yourself and LISTEN.
Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?
A) I want to impact their lives with my music and my advocacy on behalf of the autism community.
Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?
A) Thank you. I couldn’t be inspired to keep going without you.
