Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) At the moment, I’ve been filming “Titans” for the past six months, so this journey has been incredible.

Q) Please tell us what is new this season on “Titans” and with your character Jason Todd/Robin.

A) This season explores so many new characters which is really cool to be a party of. I have been honored to play the first ever Jason Todd and so far the fans love it. We really get to explore Jason Todd’s storyline more this season, new relationships and a dark past.

Q) Was there anything you added to the character that wasn’t initially on the page?

A) Of course, embodying Jason Todd has opened up so many unique tools. Every time I do a new scene, I find something unique and creative to bring to the screen

Q) How does slipping on the Robin costume help you get into character?

A) Slipping on the Tobin costume…I wish it was that easy. [laughs] But I absolutely love it. It really does work, the moment I slide the costume on I feel a weird spark come over me filled with confidence, energy and tons of fun.

Q) What keeps challenging you about your portrayal?

A) Every time I step on set, I learn something new. I wouldn’t say it is all the challenging, but the most challenging would have to be getting into the mindset of Jason’s past and getting to that point in scenes to bring it to life.

Q) What are some themes we will see explored this season on “Titans?”

A) Darkness and Romance

Q) Going into Season 2 was there someone(s) you were most hoping to share more scenes with?

A) I just wanted to get the opportunity to work more with everyone. I loved working with Brenton [Thwaites] (who plays Dick) last season and absolutely love our relationship.

Q) Who do you think Jason/Robin’s biggest ally is this season and why?

A) I would say it has to be Gar (Ryan Potter) as he takes my advice and we have a brother like relationship.

Q) What some memorable moments or episodes you are looking forward to fans seeing this season?

A) I really think Episode 1 and 7 are unique to me. In Episode 1 we see Robin vs Robin, which is absolutely amazing. Of course, it is Trigon’s (Seamus Dever) dream reality, although it was such a memorable scene to film. Also, Episode 7 is really, really vulnerable and heart wrenching.

Q) With superheroes all the rage these days, what makes “Titans” standout among the others?

A) “Titans,” of course, we are making history with bringing these super hero’s to life for the first time ever. Also, I really like how we get to explore the good and the bad within each character. Unlike some shows where the focus is on “super” hero’s being all about the good, we get to see their past and how they have become who they are through their experiences.

Q) You are a part of social media. Do you enjoy the instant feedback you receive to the series?

A) Instant feedback can be both good and bad. Of course, I love the positive feedback and I like Interacting with the fans. In this industry there is also going to be negativity and you can’t let that get to you.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and the work you do?

A) I try to express to my followers and fans as much as I can on how much I really do appreciate them. They are absolutely amazing and I love my fans.
