With the release of Aurora on the horizon and no Daisy (Riley Keough), the band wasn’t sure how to proceed…until the day that Daisy arrives back in the studio. As Billy (Sam Claflin) walks into the studio, the rest of the band has seemed to embrace Daisy’s return to the fold for their rehearsal. That is, all except Billy. As the band gets ready to rehearse, Daisy expresses her displeasure and tells Billy that they need to talk. Outside of the studio, Daisy calls Billy out for the things that he said about her in the magazine. But clearly, Billy is not taking Daisy’s dressing down as he reminds her of how she told the interviewer about missing the birth of his daughter. When Daisy says that Billy made her look weak like she needed him, which Billy felt was being truthful.

Back in rehearsal, Daisy tells the band that they will be playing “Regret Me” and “Look At Us Now”….Billy agrees to “Regret Me” but not “Look At Us Now.” The two go back at each other’s throats until Nicky (Gavin Drea) enters the room and Daisy’s introduces him to the group as her husband. It’s clear that the tension between Billy and Daisy is going to get worse, especially when they meet with tour manager Rod Reyes (Timothy Olyphant) to work out the kinks. Both Billy and Daisy go toe-to-toe with their demands, including separate buses for each of them. While Rod was skeptical about getting the demands granted, he later admits in an interview that Billy and Daisy got everything that they wanted.

The band gets ready to set out on the road with their two tour buses. While Camila (Camila Morrone) says her farewells to Billy, she also gives a nod to Daisy and just as subtle of a nod to Eddie (Josh Whitehouse). While at their first stop in Albuquerque, Karen (Suki Waterhouse) reminisces how that first show was fantastic. With each stop, the show keeps getting better as the tension between Billy and Daisy grows off-stage. But with the hordes of fans, Daisy, Graham (Will Harrison), Warren (Sebastian Chacon), Karen, and Eddie eat up the popularity while their music rises on the charts.

As Teddy (Tom Wright) is reaping the rewards at home through his success with the band, Daisy and The Six are thriving on their tour. While Billy spends a lot of time by himself on the road and calls Camila a little more than usual, Daisy’s bus is packed with everyone else partying and enjoying the high life. Soon though, Daisy’s presence on stage begins to overtake everything. The rapport between Billy and Daisy onstage also begins to affect Nicky. One night, Nicky tells Daisy that he has noticed Daisy cares a little too much about what Billy thinks.

It isn’t until during a press conference that things begin to unravel, especially as the journalists begin to ask Daisy and Billy several questions about their relationship, the Rolling Stone interview and the meanings behind their songs. When one journalist asks why “Look At Us Now” is not on the setlist, Rod cuts the interview short. Daisy storms out with Billy hot on her heels, the fight over Daisy’s relationship with Nicky being a farce. Not backing down, Billy reminds Daisy that he knows what it’s like to be in love and Daisy storms off. As that night on stage the anger is palpable, the band begins to notice. Later after the show, Graham sees Billy throwing beer bottles and offers an ear….and another six-pack for Billy to break.

To help ease the tensions a little, Camila decides to come pay Billy a visit on tour. With Camila’s presence on tour, she’s able to convince Billy to step out of his comfort zone for once and join everyone else at the party. The band is elated to have Camila and Billy join them, much to Daisy’s discomfort. But no matter, the party is in full swing and everyone is having a good time. When Camila heads outside for some fresh air, she sees that Eddie is out there as well. While he would like to talk about their private tryst, Camila brushes him off by saying that while their night together was something she needed….it can never happen again.

After the party has died down, Nicky shares the story about how he knew he and Daisy were meant for one another. Yet it’s clear later that night that Daisy is beginning to have second doubts about their relationship as she gets that pensive look during an intimate moment with Nicky. The next day, Camila says her farewell to Billy and heads back to California.

Daisy begins to spiral on the tour, especially when Rod starts noticing that she hasn’t been eating. Armed with a tray of food and mail, Rod encourages her to eat breakfast. Unfortunately, Daisy sees an envelope with her real name on it and the spiral continues. It isn’t until the show that night when Billy sees Daisy imbibing more drugs than normal that he notices a real problem arising.

That night on the tour bus, Warren and Eddie try to figure out what’s going on with Graham. Sending over one of their groupies to seduce Graham, he quickly rebuffs her and his friends begin to taunt him. Karen quickly comes to his aid and admits that her and Graham have been sleeping together for a while now. They don’t believe her until Karen takes matters into her own hands and kisses Graham while leading him to the back of the bus.

Knowing that he can’t be the only one, Billy approaches Rod during mealtime about Daisy’s drug use. Rod may see the problem but tells Billy to speak with Nicky first. Unfortunately, Nicky doesn’t care to listen and instead points out how it must kill Billy that Daisy doesn’t need him. Eventually, Billy throws the first punch and in a later interview, Warren explains how glad he was that someone finally hit Nicky. Daisy comes in and taking her husband’s side, Billy storms out of the room.

On the June 15, 1977 concert in Miami, Daisy’s drug use is more out of control than usual. While onstage Daisy collapses and Billy rushes to her aid to escort her offstage. Believing that she needs medical attention, Billy tells Daisy that she is done with the show for the night. But Daisy has other plans, especially when she hears her name being chanted. She tells Billy that she will let him know when she done as she goes back onstage and begins to sing “Look At Us Now,” much to Billy’s chagrin. The crowd joins her in singing and Nicky is backstage smiling.

That night Daisy and Nicky go on a major drug bender to celebrate Daisy’s stand against Billy. But in another room, Billy tells Rod that he’s prepared to fire Daisy after her stunt onstage. Heading to Daisy’s room, Billy is greeted by a panicked Nicky claiming that everything is fine. Billy barges into the room and finds Daisy unconscious. Rod immediately calls a doctor to get to the hotel, but Nicky quickly packs his things and vacates the room….abandoning Daisy. As a worried Billy holds Daisy in her arms and begins to panic, Daisy wakes up and sees Billy.
