DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – Bishop’s Gambit

The episode starts with Bishop (Raffi Barsoumian) very much alive. Sara (Caity Lotz) is standing right in front of him and can not believe it. She wants to know how and figures out that he´s a clone. He can recreate himself, body and mind, only one at a time. Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Kayla (Aliyah O´Brien) have just arrived on the Waverider. Mick is going in before expected, which Kayla understands, but he´s out of his league outnumbered by the Ava (Jess Macallan) clone army.

The Legends are adjusting at John´s (Matt Ryan) mansion with no way to fabricate any food. Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) has to turn to delivery pizza and ends up smoking with the delivery guy (Jorge Johnson). Ava is trying to put Gideon´s (Amy Louise Pemberton) AI into an old TV. Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) is turning the house into a survivor trap. Nate (Nick Zano) took John´s guitar and is kind of practicing with it. Astra (Olivia Swann) is still practicing her magic and Zari (Tala Ashe) is just trying to keep Constantine calm throughout the whole adjustment.

Ava manages to make Gideon work and asks her if she´s aware of any time anomalies. It seems there was actually one in an asylum back in 1956. Ava thinks it is a good thing at first because it might take her mind of Sara´s rescue mission, but Gideon says that the author of the massacre when admitted to the hospital gave the name of Sara Lance. Apparently, she went into a manic episode killing a bunch of people. Astra thinks it is a good idea to get her and take her back to John´s. When a few of the Legends arrive to the asylum they find the alien with Amelia Earhart´s (Jennifer Oleksiuk) shape from a few episodes back. So, they take her back and put her into a room while they all watch and see if she loses it. However, they just agree to have Spooner and Behrad go talk to her as sort of a good cop/bad cop. They found that she stole a ship, so Nate and Ava go find it and turns out to be the Waverider.

Back at the ship where Sara´s been captured, she hears something coming out of the toilet and it´s Gary (Adam Tsekhman). He found her while looking all over the pipes. She turns him back though to get his hands on the fuel and tells him that she will find her own way out. Although, he´s spotted by Kayla and she puts the Ava team on him.

Sara is trying to buy some time and tricks Bishop with some music dialogue.  He prepares diner for her; however ,it all takes a bad turn when Sara finds out that Rory was outside the ship and is probably dead. She snaps and punches him and then finds a room with another Bishop.

Astra is able to create a spell to get into Amelia´s mind where they see her memories from when Sara and Gary found her. Unfortunately, it gets out of control and it turns into a full alien – a different one than Gary and Kayla. She was created and experimented on. Zari almost figures out that John lost his magic but Astra steps in and helps him hide it a bit longer.

By the end of the episode Spooner gets called by the alien that´s trapped and starts to communicate with it. She finds something about Sara when Ava walks in and asks her. Spooner says it killed her, but what we find next is a more devastating. Sara finds her body lying on a table with the engagement ring she had on. Bishop says that´s the body of the real Sara.
