E.S.K. Evidence Skincare

Thanks to the minds of Australian doctors, dermatologists and scientists, E.S.K. is a brand-new skin care regime. These experts knew how harsh the Australian sun, pollution and even every day stress can put on your skin and sought to create something that could reverse that damage and even slow the aging process. We had the opportunity to try out some E.S.K. products and found that it helped us put our best face forward!

Dr. Ginni Mansberg and husband Daniel Rubinstein originally started an anti-aging skin care company upon seeing a lack of evidence-based skincare products on the market. Therefore, they made it their mission to team up with specialists to manufacture a special range of beauty products that would be based on the best published scientific evidence. Thus, in 2016 Mansberg and Rubinstein expanded their range and launched ESK.

First, before testing out any products, we were advised to take a Skin Quiz to help determine the best treatment for our specific skin type. This is a smart idea as you don’t want to use products that will be harsh on your specific skin. It’s important to focus more on what will be the healthiest for you than results promised. Then, when we learned that the skincare line was cruelty free, and not tested on animals, we were even more excited to test some things out!

One of our favorite items was the Calming Cleanse as it was a makeup remover that used coconut and sugar with soothing botanicals (aloe vera, lavender, rose, soy extract and orchid). Not only did our skin feel super clean after using it, but it smelled amazing (perfume free, but naturally good)! The Zinc Shade was a fabulous moisturizer! Not only does it help with anti-aging, but it has SPF15 sun protection against harmful UVB rays from the sun. We really felt the hydration! The other item we fell for was the Hydroxy Overnight Mask. For acne prone skin or even as a moisturizing facial with exfoliation, this treatment (post cleansing) made us feeling fresh and ready for a night of rest.

We can totally get behind E.S.K.’s motto: “It’s skin care that simply works.” We loved the variety of products available for all skin types and certainly appreciated the fact that all of them were cruelty free.
