El Ñuki – Mi Playa Ideal

Q) Often you’re described as folk/acoustic or pop-rock music, but how would you describe your sound?

 

A) Our sound is characterized by the fusion of elements of rock and alternative music with touches of pop-rock. We like to combine organic melodies and emotional lyrics with dynamic and energetic arrangements. In general, we could say that our sound is a mix of the intimate and the energetic, with a solid base in the electric guitar and voice.

 

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

 

A) Some of my musical influences include artists like The Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Phil Collins, Elton John, etc. with influences of modern jazz music.

 

Q) Talk about the story behind your song “Mi Playa Ideal.”

 

A) “Mi Playa Ideal” is a song that emerged from my personal experiences and a deep desire to escape and find a place of peace and tranquility. The story behind this song goes back to a time when I was going through a period of stress and turmoil in my life.

In the midst of that chaos, I felt the need to disconnect and seek refuge somewhere far away, where I could find the calm and serenity that I so needed. It was then when I began to imagine my ideal beach, a paradisiacal place where the sea was crystal clear, the sand was soft and white and the sun shone eternally.

As I was composing the song, I was capturing in lyrics and chords that vision of my ideal beach, a place where everything was perfect and where I could find the inner peace that I longed for. The music and lyrics of the song reflect that feeling of freedom and happiness that I was experiencing in my imagination and became a kind of emotional escape for me.

“Mi Playa Ideal” has become one of my favorite songs, as it represents that desire to seek a place of calm and tranquility in the midst of the chaos and turmoil of everyday life. I hope that those who listen to it can feel that same feeling of peace and serenity that I experienced when composing it.

 

Q) What kind of fan responses have you been receiving to the song about how they connect to it?  

 

A) Some fans have shared that they connect with the song on an emotional level, as it reminds them of a personal experience similar to what is described in the lyrics. Others have expressed that the melody and lyrics transmit a feeling of nostalgia or melancholy that makes them reflect on their own experiences. Overall, many have praised the song for its ability to evoke deep feelings and for the beauty of its composition.

 

Q) How does the video play into the message behind it?

 

A) Video is a powerful communication tool that can significantly influence the message you want to convey. Through the use of images, sounds, colors and movement, video can increase the emotionality, clarity and memorability of the message.

 

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

 

A) Personally, I find it useful to have a musical base to inspire me and guide the composition of lyrics. I believe that creativity occurs organically and uniquely in each person, so it is important to find the process that works best for yourself.

 

Q) How much of a say do you tend to have on the production side of the music that you make?

 

A) El Ñuki is known for its focus on independent and self-managed production of its music. He is often responsible for producing, recording and mixing his own songs, allowing him to have complete control over the creative process and the final result. Additionally, his focus on authenticity and originality in his music is reflected in his production, as he seeks to maintain a unique aesthetic true to his personal style. His influence on the production side of music relates to his ability to experiment with different sounds and techniques, as well as his ability to create a unique and distinctive sound that sets him apart from other artists.

 

Q) With “Mi Ideal Playa” out now, is there an EP or a full album in the works?

 

A) At the moment there is no official information about an EP or full album by El Ñuki in the works. However, we know that the artist is working on new music and planning future releases. It is recommended to keep an eye on his social media and music platforms for updates on his musical projects.

 

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

 

Bars and nightclubs: These places are important to him because they allow him to connect with a young and enthusiastic audience that is looking for a fun and exciting experience.

Music Festivals and Outdoor Events: El Ñuki enjoys performing at music festivals and outdoor events because they give him the opportunity to reach a larger and more diverse audience and also allow him to enjoy the lively and festive atmosphere.

Cultural centers and theaters: These places are important to El Ñuki because they allow him to showcase his artistic talent in a more formal and cultural environment, giving him the opportunity to connect with a more select and appreciative audience.

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

 

A) I would like to collaborate with artists who share my passion for music and who can bring their own unique style to the song.

 

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

 

A) I’m currently listening to indie rock style artists. I like his music because of his intelligent and direct lyrics.

 

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

 

A) I would like to tell everyone who admires and supports me that I am eternally grateful for your support and all the love you give me. Without you, my music would have no meaning and I would not be able to continue fulfilling my passion.
