Q) How would you describe your music?

A) I would describe my music as pop alternative

Q) What is your song writing process?

A) My writing process consists of me first laying down a melody with my voice recorder on my phone. Then, I shape my verse pre chorus and lay down some lyrics.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I have so, so many! [laughs] But I usually listen to Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Tyler the Creator.

Q) What was the inspiration behind the song “Do Re Mi?”

A) “Do Re Mi” was specifically about a past relationship I had and how much of a crazy beautiful mess it was.

Q) What was it like creating the video for this single during the lockdown?

A) So fun!! I set up my green screen in my apartment, looked up some tutorials on how to use it and then boom! I had a video❤️

Q) How has the lockdown impacted you creatively?

A) It’s made me become better as a musician and artist. I started to work on my craft a little more with writing and playing instruments.

Q) Who would you love to collaborate with on a future project? 

A) It would most definitely wanna work with Amy if she was here with us today. But I think my top pick would be Madonna. I think we would make some really fun stuff together.

Q) You are releasing a new EP, Act 1-Manifesto, this year.  What are some themes you will explore on it?

A) Yes, we are at the tail end of finishing up the first EP Manifesto. But Manifesto was meant to be a symbol of what I would say if I got one chance to say it. But the next EP I’m releasing is called Fiasco and I’m so, so excited for you to hear it!

Q) What are some songs on it that hold a special place in your heart and why?

A) I think “Past and Present” and “Falling” are my favs. “Past and Present” I felt I really communicated what I wanted to say. And “Falling” is such a fun upbeat one. I love it.
