Fabien Gravillon – Je t’attends

Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) It’s a French urban pop sound. It is a smooth sound and interpreted in French

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I like many genres of music: Jason Derulo, Usher, Chris Brown, Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, David Guetta, Tiesto and Bebe Rexha.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Je t’attends,” which is beautifully song in French.

A) It’s a love story that ends badly. After an argument, my girlfriend decides to leave me. Shortly after, I found her in the arms of another man. This makes me very jealous.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Fans connect to the love story because love is universal.

Q) The video was directed by Roger Artola and Griffith Vision. How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The different scenes filmed by Roger Artola and Griffith Vision represent the sentimental side that is characterized in the song.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I do this in several ways. Either way, I actually need the music before and I create a melody in relation to the music or I create a melody and a text before having the music and a composer then creates music on it.

Q) With “Je t’attends” out now, will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Neither at the moment. I am in the process of changing my musical genre and I am going to release a next title which will therefore be very different.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I really like nightclubs because there is always a good atmosphere and the people don’t worry…They are there to have fun.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would like to collaborate with famous DJs like Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Tiesto or Zedd. I’ve already collaborated with Martin Garrix in one of his music videos though.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I listen to Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Bebe Rexha and Tiesto because they make Electronic Dance Music and it’s a musical style that I like. Also, Usher, Chris Brown and Meghan Thee Stallion in another musical genre.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I thank you for your support and there will be some very nice surprises in my next titles.
