Q) What do you love most about playing Annie and working on This Is Us?

A) What I love about playing Annie is her style and her witty lines. When she does speak, she has something to say.

 

Q) In what ways do you relate to your character Annie and how are you different?

A) I relate to Annie because like she is the youngest in her immediate family and so am I.

 

Q) What challenges you about portraying this character?

A) What challenges me about playing Annie is that I feel I need to know more about my character because she is growing up.

 

Q) What has been your favorite Beth and/or Randall moment with Annie? How is it working on screen with parents Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson?

A) I haven’t had a favorite Beth or Randall moment; however, working with Mr. Sterling and Ms. Susan is amazing. They are always supportive on set and Mr. Sterling has the funniest laugh.

 

Q) Are there any episodes you are looking forward to for fans to see this season?

A) I am always looking forward to the entire season. Everything is always an amazing mystery to me.

 

Q) What have been some of your most memorable moments so far filming “This Is Us?”

A) I am still in shock each time I’m on set. This is my first role as a series regular and being a part of this show, it’s hard to choose one because there are so many memories.

 

Q) What have you taken away from being part of the series? 

A) I have taken away that each day is a learning experience for me and I take nothing I do for granted.

 

Q) What advice would you give to up and coming actors and actresses?

A) My advice to up and coming actors and actresses is to have patience, study your craft and get to know who the character is. Have patience. I’ve been on a lot of auditions, but I never gave up. What is meant for you will come.

 

Q) What would you like to say to fans and supporters of you and your work on “This Is Us?”

A) I would love to say “Thank You” to my fans and supporters. Thank you for all the encouraging words and love you show me on my social media or when I meet you. It melts my heart and I appreciate it.
