Q) How would you describe your sound? 

A) Our sound is a blend of hip hop, pop and R&B!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences? 

A) We have a lot of influences from Outkast, Destiny’s Child, Rihanna, Erykah Badu, Missy Elliott, Diana Ross…We could go on and on!

Q) Talk about the story behind your new EP Vitamin FB? 

A) We like to make food references in our lyrics. We’re both foodies and these two songs are reflections of that!! “Hot Tea” is about gossip and how silly it can be. “Fondue: is about wanting your love interest to make you melt!!

Q) What do you think it is about the songs that fans connect to? 

A) We think they connect to our playfulness, our witty bars and our overall energy!!

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics? 

A) Most of the time we have some sort of music first, even if it’s just drums. But there have been times when we just come up with a concept or hook idea and our producer Marky Style makes the beat around it!

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music? 

A) We work very closely with our producer Marky, and he listens to our notes. All of our songs end with us and him putting the finishing touches on them!!

Q) What are some themes you explore on your new EP Vitamin FB? 

A) We explore gossip and flirtation in our own playful way.

Q) What track on the EP is your personal favorite and why? 

A) Well, there are two songs and it’s two of us! We both have different favorites, but we won’t tell you which is which.

Q) Which single challenged you the most creatively when it came to writing or lyrics? 

A) We had the lyrics for “Fondue” for a while and it took a long time to find the perfect production to match that song but once we did it flowed!

Q) You are a part of social media. What kind of response have you been receiving on Boffumand Vitamin FBand which tracks seem to be fan favorites? 

A) Our song “Nu Nu” has had the best response so far. It seems like a fan favorite. It’s too soon to know which song from Vitamin FB the fans will love the most!

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform live?

A) Anywhere there’s a stage and an engaged crowd, we love performing!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future? 

A) Missy Elliott!!
