I’m in love. I’ve fallen in love and I don’t care who knows it! I had the opportunity to try out the Foreo brand UFO 2 a spa-quality “sonic masking.” It utilizes facial massage, light therapy and nourishing mask treatments. If you’re a fan of technology and your skin could use some serious TLC, it’s time you took a look into Foreo and their UFO Power Mask Treatment.

Foreo is a Swedish skincare company that has become a hit in the beauty industry. The company is widely known or their sonic facial cleansing creation Luna. Thanks to the combination of soft silicone and sonic action, users are able to reach deep into their pores and get a superior skin cleanse – in two minutes or less! I had the opportunity to try their UFO 2 device, which aids in fewer wrinkles and making skin firmer and plumper with a greater glow. Not only was it easy to use, but it left my skin feeling happier and healthier!

The instructions for using the UFO were simple. Plug the device into a USB outlet to charge. Download the Foreo app to your phone and register your device. Select the type of mask you are looking to use that day. My personal options ranged from the following masks: Make My Day (a 90-second facial treatment with red algae and hyaluronic acid to start the day with hydrated skin), H2Overdose (a microfiber mask that offers soothing moisture to dry skin) and Call It a Night (olive oil and ginseng combine to nourish your face after a long day). All masks are placed on the Foreo device and a plastic ring secures them in place. After selecting the mask you’d like to use at that that time you open the app and mark the type you will be applying. Then, simply scan the barcode from the mask’s packaging and hit the start button for your spa treatment facial to begin. A woman’s voice begins speaking soothingly to you – helping to guide you and relax you during your facial. The device begins to warm as you glide the device over all areas of your face and neck in little circles.

The heating and cooling aspects to this facial treatment are combined with light therapy truly penetrate your pores. The Thermo-Therapy (heat) is there to relax and revitalize while also allowing the mask to go deep into your skin to maximize effectiveness. The UFO pulses skin in order to boost absorption and active the ingredients that will help promote skin that is healthier and more radiant. The device also changes light colors to offer LED therapy! The UV-free red, green and blue light wavelengths that are utilized are exactly what you would find if you headed to the spa for a photofacial treatment. All of this is quick and easy, so in just ninety seconds you feel brand new! Once the device tells you that the treatment is complete you have the option of repeating it or disposing of the mask. I found that there was enough of the facial solution left in the package should you wish to double up on doing a mask. When you’re all done with your mask, simply throw it out and run cold water over the UFO device – it’s waterproof – for quick and easy cleanup.

What I loved about the Foreo UFO device was that the charge lasts for a VERY long time. You can use it at least twice a day for over a week without having to plug it in for a recharge. Additionally, the waterproof aspect makes cleanup a breeze so there is no muss or fuss – creating a quick and easy treatment that won’t take up too much of your time at the start or end of your day. Post use my skin felt super hydrated and dreamy-soft. I started the day or ended it feeling confident that my skin was on the way to getting the nourishment it needed to looking and feeling its best.
