Q) Your music is described as being a re-ignition of rock, paying homage to the evolution of rock music from the 80s, 90s and post grunge genres, with a dash of heavy metal mixed in. How did your sound come about?

A) Through maybe different types of influences over the years from Green Day, Hoobastank, Godsmack, Metallica, Ozzy, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Powerman 5000 – loving it all and not really getting why the industry doesn’t accept certain styles anymore as “the mainstream.” What if they came back and were mixed?

Q) Not only is rock your genre of choice, it is also a way of life for you. Where does your passion for rock music stem from?

A) It’s one that that I could feel the most connected to and let out some stress and energy. It seems like the cool genre to be in aha. A lot of it is from the film The Crow that I saw as a kid. I thought the soundtrack rocked and him playing guitar in that film was epic!

Q) Who are your musical influences and what about these artists resonate with you?

A) Metallica with their live raw drive and it almost seems like it’s painful for them to play. It shows dedication and what four guys in a room can really do without all the extra synth or track elements. Ozzy [Osbourne] because of Zakk Wylde and Randy Rhoads playing with the type of sound and fast playing is different than Metallica, more melodic and sound FX driven a bit, too. These records were produced more too, and I like the full sounding element. Def Leppard was the same with the epic layering and Nickelback for that type of layering style with their guitars, too. Powerman 5000 was a hyped-up heavier version of Billy Idol!

Q) What is your creative process when making new music? Do you need lyrics before adding music?

A) Always it’s the music first. It sets the mood of what the lyrics will feel like and tell. I usually make a full track demo playing all the instruments to get a feel of if it’s going to work or not. I end up reworking the track a few times and lyrics before actually doing the “release version.”

Q) Congratulations on the release of your latest single “Fall From Grace.” The song is said to reflect on rising up after reaching your lowest possible point and wanting to give up. What inspired you to write a song about this theme?

A) It was the house fire we went through and coming back from nothing and deciding not to back down.

Q) The music video for “Fall From Grace” truly captures the aggressive nature that heavy rock of old was known for, depicting your intense and color-coded performance of the song. How does the video enhance the theme of the song?

A) I think it shows how I feel and the aggressive nature of what I went through. It’s more of a performance video and less of a story kind. I had to get a video out there that my radio reps were telling me and sometimes it can be a rush to make it in time.

Q) You wrote, produced, directed, performed and edited the music video for the single yourself. How do you successfully manage to wear all these hats as a creator?

A) I did, yes. I do my own video productions with Palangi Films and do indie horror films as well. I just released free on TUBI streaming my first film THE LOST CHRONICLES. I’m working on my second film now for 2024 release. Ever since a kid I’ve loved making films and acting. Any creative I just go for it! I have to note my longtime friend Aaron Lambert/actor helped me shoot that video too.

Q) What do you hope lingers with people listening to “Fall From Grace?”

A) The ability not to give up so easily and when everything seems like you’re at ground zero, there’s something or someone to help you and you can use your own strength to climb out.

Q) Will you be releasing an album or EP in the near future?

A) I’ll be doing another single for now called “Dynamite” hoping to release this fall. I have some others in the works, not sure what to do currently for the EP route. I’m trying to up more radio opportunities and focus on some audio and film productions coming up.

Q) Which of your song(s) do you especially enjoy playing live and why?

A) “Break These Chains” is one of my favorites always to play. It’s a fan favorite and it never gets old to me. It has the right kind of vibe and sums me up as an artist well, too.

Q) Which artist(s) would you love to collaborate with on a song in future?

A) Metallica, Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, Daughtry, Scott Stapp

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters of you and the music you make?

A) I appreciate all the support and enjoy hearing from all of you and interacting so add me on any platform. It’s you that helps the next generation of indie artists make it. Don’t just stream music but download it as it helps us out so much more to make new music and support our musical careers. Bless! “NO PLAN B”
