Today marks the release of the film Illuminated: The True Story of the Illuminati. Producer/writer/director Johnny Royal has created a documentary that features thought-provoking interviews hoping to shed light on the mysterious group. If this secret society is of interest to you, watching the film will give you some incredible insight into some of their special rituals.

For starters, the film features interviews with various Illuminati experts such as researchers, historians and filmmakers. Authors Josef Wäges and Reinhard Markner who were the first to translate the authentic rituals and literature of the Illuminati. Watching these two openly discuss the society’s origins and even share long held private Illuminati information is incredibly fascinating. Additionally, Royal keeps the viewer riveted by sharing hand-written documents that date as far back as the late 18th century! If there was ever a doubt that the Illuminati existed, you’ve surely found your proof through this film.

Viewers are also treated to what are said to be “faithful reenactments” of the Illuminati. These are said to have never been seen by the public, something I particular found to be intense and quite riveting. You’ll be on the edge of your seat following along.

For those intrigued by the mysterious organization of the Illuminati, Royal does a superb job of exploring his subject matter. If you’ve ever been curious about the practices, principles and members of this secret society, be sure to give Illuminated: The True Story of the Illuminati your full attention.
