Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Reggae/Rock/Alternative

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Too many to list all of them. Everyone from Tom Petty to Bob Marley to Beck.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Stay the Course.”

A) It’s a song about following your heart and your dreams I suppose. Letting yourself be open to change.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think that the characters in the song’s stories are relatable.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) It’s basically the story of our own journey as a band and basically a time piece for our growth.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) We generally create the music first, but sometimes a lyric or phrase can spur on the creativity.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I think we have a big hand in what we do from a production standpoint. Equal partnership with our producer.

Q) You are out on a 43-city “Live From Paradise” tour! What can fans expect from a live Iration performance?

A) Probably more energy than they’re expecting from a reggae type show! We like to get the crowd moving.

Q) Where are some places you are looking forward to performing?

A) Red Rocks, Santa Barbara Bowl, NYC are all favorites.

Q) Pepper, Fortune Youth and Katastro are your special guests. What makes them compliment Iration so well?

A) I think that they all have different sounds/styles yet if you heard all of our music on a playlist it would fit well together.

Q) Will there be a full EP or album coming in the near future?

A) There will be singles soon, then possibly a longer form release.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Tash Sultana is really cool. Tom Misch is awesome.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Currently listening to new Khalid album. Love his sound and style. A blend of classic and modern R&B and pop.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) The fans are the people that make our career possible. We try to interact with them as much as possible.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) We value them and what they give to us.
