.irg & Jeremy Latshaw Release Single ‘midnight’

This song has 2 vocalists and 2 producers. Jeremy Latshaw, the 21-year-old Pennsylvania native, sings the first verse and the chorus while also playing guitar throughout the track. .irg, the 23-year-old Pennsylvania native comes in on the second verse and recorded all of the background vocals in the track as well. Ian Hranilovich was able to bring the track together with mixing and mastering of the final product. .irg always loves to collab with as many artists as possible. Jeremy Latshaw and .irg met in 2017 while playing soccer for Lancaster Bible College.

This song started to get worked on during spring break of 2019. The song continued to get flipped and even forgotten about at times over the course of the next year. As the track was being created, it felt like it was missing something. An anthem like this one needs more voices and perspectives. So, .irg reached out to Jeremy where the track was at and if he was interested in a collab. They both decided that the track would fit both of their voices perfectly and they got to work. It was explained that this song was originally meant for those who are struggling with sin and depression. Jeremy states that, “It was putting a voice to inner fears and unspoken problems. It was also voicing frustration and not being able to trust the people that I was around. It’s a reminder to me to surround myself around good people that encourage a Godly lifestyle and not get caught up in the things of the world.” Once .irg and Jeremy came up with this concept, they both got to work. .irg began to song write in Lancaster during the summer of 2020. Writing the lyrics only took about 10 minutes and then it was onto the recording stage. Once .irg recorded and sent the vocals to Jeremy, they both fell in love with the lyrics and melodies. The project was then sent to Ian and he completed the project perfectly.
