A) I would describe my sound as raw and passionate.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) My musical influences are Eric Church, Koe Wetzel, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Keith Whitley.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “If I Know You.”

A) The lyrics relate to a toxic relationship and how the person does things that were unforeseeable, they turn out to be someone you never knew.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) We have all had similar experiences when it comes to relationships.

Q) You wrote “If I Know You” with Bill Roemer and Steven Hopkins. What is your song writing process?

A) We throw around ideas until we land on something we all want to write about. In this case, we all had a bad relationship experience

Q) Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) 90% of the time, yes, but every once in a while, we can pop out a line or two without a music base.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) The producer and I work hand and hand to bring the song to life. I give my input and ideas and he brings them to life.

Q) With “If I Know You” out now, is there a full album or EP in the works?

A) Right now, we are focusing on one song at a time, but eventually I’d love to put together an album.

Q) Congrats on your baby announcement! Which of your songs have you been playing him while you wait for his arrival?

A) All of the unreleased stuff and a few lullabies.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) Any time I’m in Mississippi, it’s special since it’s my home state but every time I get to perform, I’m thankful to be up there.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Cody Johnson!

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) A lot of the newer guys and gals – one being Tucker Wetmore. Really like his new stuff.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I’m very thankful for you guys and so glad I get to make music ya’ll like and relate to.
