Janelle – Big Brother

Q.  What made you want to be a part of the show “Big Brother 6”?

A. I am a huge fan of BB and have been watching it for the last few years.  I wanted to give it a shot and prove to myself that I could do it.

Q.  Did you have a strategy with Ashlea before entering the house?

A.  Our strategy was to pretend we didn’t know each other and win competitions, take out strong players, and not make anything personal.  We also wanted to stay true to our word and not break promises we couldn’t keep.

Q.  Were you  fan of the show before appearing on it?

A.  Huge fan!  I’ve been watching it since season 2.

Q.  What did you learn about yourself from being inside the house?

A.  That I’m a strong person and it takes a lot to break me down.  The funny thing is I wasn’t that stressed in the house.  That I can handle anything.

Q.  What did you miss most about the outside world while being on “Big Brother 6”?

A.  I missed having choices, choices on what to eat.  Choices on when I wanted to get up.  Choices on how much wine I could consume.  Choices on having to talk to certain people.

Q.  Do you have a most memorable moment from your time on the show?

A.  My most memorable moment was the day Kaysar won HOH after Michael had left.  I knew Kaysar and I were going to get nominated if we didn’t win HOH.  It was a great feeling sitting in the HOH room with Howie and Kaysar.  We were so happy then.

Q.  Is there anything that you would have done differently?

A.  I would have stayed on the surfboard to protect Ashlea.  I would have talked Howie into nominating two of the nerd herd, the first week he was HOH.

Q.  What part of the house did you enjoy the most?

A.  By far the gold room.  I think it was the most luxurious room by far.  I had so many good time in that room.

Q.  Do you have any advice for future contestants on the show?

A.  Be yourself.  Stay strong and fight like hell to stay in the house.

Q.  Do you regret the remarks you made to Jennifer when you won HOH after her reign?

A.  Absolutely not.  What I said to Jennifer was what I was feeling at that moment.  She had it coming to her.  Be afraid Jennifer, be very afraid.

Q.  What helped sustain you throughout the entire “Big Brother 6” competition?

A.  What helped me was my desire to win.  Also, knowing that I was one of the last of my alliance and we were being taken out by a nerd herd.  I was there for the friends that I had lost.

Q.  How were you able to be so successful at a majority of the memorization competitions?

A.  I have an excellent memory.  It’s one of my strengths that I brought into the game.  My secret weapon.

Q.  What are your plans following your time on the show?

A.  I am going to be spending time with Michael.  We have so much catching up to do.  I will also be in Minnesota for a while to see my family.  After that I will go back to work.  Who knows.

Q.  What would you like to say to viewers who were fans and supporters of you while you were a part of the house?

A.  I can’t thank the fans enough for supporting me and cheering me on.  Thank you for voting me to win America’s Choice!  The Janie doll love America.  I am so sorry I didn’t succeed in taking out the nerd herd.
