Jennifer – Big Brother
Q. What made you want to be a part of the show “Big Brother 6”?
A. I’m a really big people person and thought it would be a great to live in a house with thirteen other strangers. I am a very honest and open person so the cameras weren’t a problem either.
Q. Did you have a strategy with April before entering the house?
A. Not really. We didn’t know each other well and had limited time together beforehand. April and I just tired coming up with different scenarios that could happen and talked about past seasons.
Q. Were you a fan of the show before appearing on it?
A. I auditioned for seasons three, four and five so I would watch the how to see who beat me out of a spot. My mom’s been watching since season one and that’s who got me hooked.
Q. What did you learn about yourself from being inside the house?
A. I already knew I had a great life and appreciated everything and everyone in it. But, being in the house definitely increased that knowledge. The house makes you appreciate things you didn’t realize were luxuries.
Q. What did you miss most about the outside world while being on “Big Brother 6”?
A. I definitely missed Daniel and my nephew, Kane, the most. I did miss the birth of my niece, Brooke, the day I left for the show and the first three month of her life, which I will never get back. That’s the hardest part.
Q. Do you have a most memorable moment from your time on the show?
A. My most memorable moments were the nights in the HOH room when Maggie was HOH. Those times made it all worth it because that’s when “the game” stopped and we all really bonded.
Q. Is there anything that you would have done differently?
A. There are things I could’ve done differently that would’ve only gotten me a little further in the game. But, just like in life, you can’t live with regret because everything you do, makes you who you are. Everything happens for a reason.
Q. What part of the house did you enjoy the most?
A. I enjoyed the people in the house the most. That’s all that really matters-the relationships, not the material things. I will leave with some friendships that’ll last a lifetime and that’s better than anything else I could’ve taken from the show.
Q. Do you have any advice for future contestants on the show?
A. Don’t take things personally to where it affects your game. I know it is hard but give everyone a second chance once the show is over to prove to you who they really are off TV.
Q. What makes the bond that you have with April so strong?
A. April and I didn’t know each other that well before the show so getting to know one another every day helped us to bond. Being that we were partners forced us to have a strong bond together as well.
Q. You were the pressure cooker winner, how did you manage to stay so strong for such a long time period?
A. I’m a dancer and have cheered at arena football games for longer periods than that (and that was without pom poms). I have always been the type of person that gets motivated to just keep going the longer I do something.
Q. It has been no secret that the house has been divided this past week. What are your thoughts on that?
A. I think it’s unusual since it hasn’t happened any other season. It definitely has been going on since the first week though-not just this past one. I feel it makes the competitions more interesting and fans at home can choose which team to support.
Q. What is the worst part of eating peanut butter and jelly?
A. After about the third day, you get really sick of eating the same thing and your body gets really weak too.
Q. What would you like to say to viewers who were fans and supporters of you?
A. Thanks so much for watching the show and being supportive of all that we do. Keep watching because without you, there wouldn’t have been six seasons. And don’t give up on your dreams no matter how many times you hear “no.”
