Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would say Pop and R&B

 

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Selena

 

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Enough.”

A) I wrote the song to my 7-year-old self.

 

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think the fans can relate to feeling not good enough. I think we all have felt that way once in our lives. I think they also can relate to wanting to feel empowered and I believe this song does just that.

 

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) It has a lot of flowers and butterflies. The official lyric video to symbolize there is beauty in growth when realizing that in the end your enough.

 

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A)  Yes, I like to vibe out to the music first and then write. When I was in middle school, I used to write songs the other way around.

 

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I’ll be in the room. I let the producers work their gift.

 

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Yes, full EP coming soon!!!! I’m really excited about it!!

 

Q) You’ve performed on Showtime at the Apollo and opened for Ja Rule and Ashanti. What did these accomplishments mean to you?

A) It meant everything to me. It made me feel right at home, like I wanted this as a little girl to be on big stages and to finally say I have been on some is a fulfilling and heartwarming gratitude feeling!!  I learned from both crowds. I loved the energy!!! I felt from the crowd when I was on stage.

 

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I love performing on any kind of stage to be able to have the opportunity to sing. What makes all the stages significant is I have the opportunity to sing in front of new people each time.

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Beyoncé! I feel I could learn a lot from her. Her work ethic is out of this world!!!!

 

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them? 

A) I’m currently listening to a lot of 90s and early 2000s music. I was a kid in that era. It just continues to remind me why I fell in love with music. I did music from that era because it evoked a feeling like you could really feel what they were singing about and the structures of the records are everything!!!

 

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) I think social media is important to connect with the fans because it allows the fans to get to know you…your likes and dislikes, what you like to do for fun.  It makes us feel closer to one another like we are friends. I feel people like knowing who they are supporting. I believe the fans like to feel like they are on the journey with you.

 

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I want to say to the supporters and fans supporting me thank you so, so much for always being here for me!! I’m soooo blessed to have you guys rooting me on!! Whether it’s streaming/buying my song!!! Or sending me sweet messages or coming out to support me at a show!!! How did I get so lucky to have u guys? 💖 I have so much in store for you!!! 🥳🎉🎉Love you always!!! 💖
