Kristen Storms – Warm Hospitality
Q. What are the current projects that you are working on?
A. My tan. I’m just enjoying the sun until I start work on “General Hospital” at the end of the month.
Q. Why did you decide to head back to daytime television on “General Hospital”?
A. I love “General Hospital,” it’s my favorite soap and when I started thinking about going back to “General Hospital,” I got excited about about the idea of starting on that show. I love the characters and the storylines of the show. It’s one of those shows that I really like tuning into everyday.
Q. What can you tell us about the character you will be playing?
A. Well, I can say that it probably won’t be anything like any of the other characters I have played. I think she will be a little edgy, but hopefully still likeable.
Q. We read that you’ll be taking over someone else’s role, how do you feel taking on a role that someone else began?
A. That is always hard. I really liked Robyn Richard’s work and think she is such a sweet girl. I’m just hoping to make the character a little bit of my own, without taking away everything Robyn made the character of “Maxie.”
Q. You had such an enormous following as “Belle” on the show “Days of Our Lives,” do you feel your fans will follow you to your new soap opera role and be as supportive?
A. I hope so! Soap opera fans are awesome…they find people they like and they follow them. The support you get from them can be so much help, especially when you are starting on a new show. So, yeah I hope some of them will tune in to see what I am up to.
Q. Just recently you starred on the show “Clubhouse,” what was it like getting to work with such great actors like Dean Cain and Christopher Lloyd?
A. Well, Dean Cain was the nicest person and made me feel very comfortable being on set. He is also way funnier than I expected. And Christopher Lloyd…wow. He is one of my favorite actors so I was just in awe every time I was around him. I could barely speak (and that is rare).
Q. What made you want to be a part of this project?
A. Mostly the writing. I didn’t know who was doing it when I was cast (I was one of the first). I read the pilot and just fell in love with all of the characters. It was easy for me to decide because I was so attracted to the script.
Q. You’ve done a fair amount of work with Disney, what makes working with the network so appealing?
A. It’s a family channel. I really enjoy doing work that kids can sit down and watch. I love kids, I love working with them, and I love working on projects that I know they will enjoy. So, with Disney, it’s always a fast yes when it comes to anything they do.
Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A. Spending time with my friends and visiting my sister. I really enjoy being at home and around people that I love. I’m not really into the whole “club” scene anymore, I feel like I have domesticated myself.
Q. Do you have a favorite project that you’ve worked on and why?
A. Hmm….that’s a tough one. I like all the shows that I have been able to do and all for different reasons. I really feel I have learned so much from every job that I have gotten and I am looking forward to learning more on my new adventure.
Q. What is your latest obsession, are you into any particular book, sport, musical artist or activity?
A. Well, as far as books go, my favorite author is Harlan Coben. I am always checking the web to see when his next book comes out. Then I run out, pick it up, and don’t leave the house until I am finished.
Q. Is there anything that you’d like to say to fans and supporters of your career?
A. Just that I love them!! I have a special thanks to the girls who run the glamourgirlkstorms.com site. They are so dedicated to making me feel supported and I want them to know that I appreciate it so much!
