Kyle Massey – Brotherly Love
Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?
A) I am not working on any projects right now, just “That’s So Raven.”
Q) You play Corey Baxter on the show “That’s So Raven.” Tell us a bit about your character.
A) When I was younger, they used to target me towards money and material things. Now that I’m older, it’s still money, but now I have a girlfriend and I’m working on my social life.
Q) What made you want to be apart of the show?
A) When I read the script, I was thinking it would be such a fun cast. The first episode had stunts and I thought this was going to be a blast. I really wanted to do this more than anything. My mom took me and I got it. It’s been a blast ever since.
Q) What is a typical day like for you on the set?
A) When we’re filming, it is kind of long. Our days are long especially because on Fridays we have a live audience so we have to do all of our scenes in front of an audience. Sometimes people are talking so we have to do it over. It is sort of long, but it’s fun. It’s well worth it.
Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?
A) I don’t really have a most memorable because I remember all of them. My most memorable moment would have to be when I first got the show and they called to tell me I booked it.
Q) What is it about the show that you think has viewers hooked?
A) It’s just the whole concept and everyone acts so natural. We all act like Raven is really a psychic. Everything is really fun and I think they like the natural abilities because it looks like Raven and her family at home. Where most shows read from the script, but we just say it like it’s nothing.
Q) You consider one of your skills to be a “funny laugh.” Why is this important to you?
A) I used to do the Woody-Wood Pecker laugh. When I went into the audition room and everyone would crack up laughing. I used to do it on an old TV show that I was on a long time ago, too. A lot of people like it and all the casting directors would love it. That’s what probably got me most of my jobs!
Q) What is your latest obsession? A book? A movie? A sport?
A) I am really into basketball. I’ve always wanted to be a basketball player, go back stage to have all the fans swoon for me where I touch them and they just fall down. I always loved the thrill and speed of basketball.
Q) What do you do in your spare time?
A) I play basketball, I work on the show and I swim. I also play football, golf and video games. I ride my motorcycle and my four-wheeler. Plus, I like to hang out with my friends.
Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
A) Thank you so much for supporting me for such a long time. I really appreciate how much love you are giving us because we really do work hard giving you what you like. I really appreciate how you stuck with us and gave us a chance.
