Q) How would you describe your sound?

 

A) I would describe myself and sound as new country which is more of a cross country that bleeds into multiple genres.

 

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

 

A) Kasey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Maren Morris and Dan + Shay are some of my biggest influences.

 

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Hannah.”

 

A) “Hannah” is about being there for someone who needs you. This past year has been really hard on all of us. I think it’s important to have people around you who support you no matter what and reassure you everything is going to be ok even if it doesn’t feel like it.

 

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

 

A) In my mind everyone has been Hannah and has been the one supporting “Hannah.” I think we all just want what’s best for the people around us and even though we can’t control what happens to them, we can control how we support them and make them feel.

 

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

 

A) I wanted the video to feel like you were there in the moment and present with me telling the story of Hannah. I wanted it to be very personal, intimate and real.

 

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

 

A) It’s different every time. Sometimes it starts with the title, a hook, or the melody. I don’t have a specific formula. I just do what comes naturally at the time.

 

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

 

A) Although I don’t consider myself a producer, since I have been in music school throughout college, I have a lot of knowledge. I consider the thoughts and ideas that go into the production from start to finish.

 

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

 

A) When the time is right, I would love to put out a full project. It is definitely in my future.

 

Q) You’ve garnered a lot of attention for your songs through TikTok. How does that make you feel?

 

A) It’s definitely been a whirlwind. Tik Tok definitely plays a huge role in my music and how I reach all of my fans. I am super appreciative of the platform and continuing to use it to reach more people!

 

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

 

A) I love playing Whiskey Jam, a Nashville staple. They have been super supportive since the beginning and will always be one of my favorite places to perform.

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

 

A) A dream collab would definitely be Dan + Shay. They are amazing songwriters and producers. I would be so lucky to be able to work with them.

 

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them? 

 

A) I love Ernest. I think he is an incredible artist and songwriter and has a unique spin on country music.

 

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

 

A) Social Media is a way for my fans to get a glimpse of my life and see more of the process that goes into creating and releasing music.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

 

A) THANK YOU! I am just so grateful for everyone and anyone who has listened to my music. It is making my dreams come true and I am forever blessed.
