Ligula – SXSW

The Madrid based band Ligula spoke to Starry Constellation Magazine during SXSW 2017 to discuss their origins, their music and what you can expect from them going forward.

About the band: Ligula has played all around Spain, but this is the first time playing in the United States. They won a contest in Spain, which allowed them to make this trip to SXSW. According to the band, they are “a tribute to the intimacy of the music — the beginning few initial guitar chords that will expand in all directions to make up a song.”

Band members: Alejandro Elizalde, Ignacio Fernandez, Borja Menendez, Diego Ruiz, Saul Omar, Joan Carranza, Carlos Valladolid and Guzman Sanchez.
