Q) How do you all tend to describe the sound or genre of music that you make?

A) The feeling we want to transmit to our fans is happiness and good vibes, this has mainly been translated into our music, and which is why we decided to explore Cumbia and its different sub-genres! So, basically, happy music that can transmute people’s energies to positive and good feelings.

 

Q) Who are some artists that influenced you when you were growing up?

A) When we were growing up, we were heavily influenced by amazing artists like Kumbia Kings, whose vibrant cumbia-pop fusion always got us dancing. Rigo Tovar’s blend of cumbia and rock also deeply resonated with us. Celso Piña who brought a rebellious spirit to cumbia. El Gran Silencio’s mix of rock, reggae, and cumbia was irresistible, and Los Ángeles Azules and La Sonora Dinamita filled our world with infectious cumbia rhythms.

 

Q) Your most recent single “La Werita,” a very fresh song that will surely make anyone dance, has managed to put you back on the spot this year. What was your main source for inspiration for this track?

A) Our main inspiration for “La Werita” came from our love for tropical vibes. We decided to create this track based on the joyful and carefree feeling of a summer vacation. The energy and warmth of those moments really shine through in the song, making it perfect for dancing and enjoying life.

 

Q) What has been the response from your fans to it so far?

A) The response from our fans has been overwhelmingly positive! We’re incredibly grateful for their support as we feel they truly resonate with the energy of our music. It’s thrilling to see their excitement about our latest project, and we can’t wait for them to experience it fully.

 

Q) What was your favorite part of composing this catchy new single?

A) My favorite part of composing this catchy new single was definitely the studio recording sessions. It was so much fun reminiscing about the story behind the song as we wrote it. Shooting the music video on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta was also an unforgettable experience. The whole process was a blast from start to finish, filled with creativity and good vibes.

 

Q) When it comes to making new music, how would you describe your creative process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) When it comes to making new music, our creative process is dynamic and collaborative. We kick things off with composition camps where we share our individual ideas, melodies, and rhythms. From there, we collectively build the music and lyrics, drawing inspiration from our shared experiences and emotions. It’s a fun and organic process that allows us to explore different sounds and ideas together. Creating new songs is not just about the end result; it’s about the journey of discovery and creativity that we embark on as a team.

 

Q) How do you consider the differences in your personalities and as musicians contribute to the music you make?

A) Our differences in personalities and musical styles actually contribute a lot to the music we make. While we each bring our own unique strengths and perspectives to the table, there’s a strong sense of connection and unity when we compose together. We respect each other’s ideas and talents, allowing them to blend seamlessly into our collaborative process.

 

Q) Working with your family certainly has its perks; what would you say is the best part of sharing this passion for music and working together?

A) Working with family in music brings a unique sense of respect, unity, and camaraderie. There’s an undeniable bond as siblings, fostering a deep trust and understanding. Having a brother as both a colleague and a supportive ally adds an extra layer of significance to our shared project. It’s an incredibly special experience, rooted in mutual trust and a shared passion for our craft.

 

Q) I know you have embarked on a new adventure with your new tour throughout Mexico. What can fans expect from a live Los ADN performance?

A) Fans can expect an electrifying experience at a live Los ADN performance! Get ready to jump and dance to our music, as our show is packed with energy and excitement. It’s a high-octane performance that will leave everyone buzzing with adrenaline and joy

 

Q) Besides your current tour, you have more new music in store this year. Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) We’re excited to announce that we’ll be releasing a new single called “Quererte bien” soon, and we know our fans will love this catchy cumbia track! Additionally, we have some exciting collaborations lined up with other talented artists. Stay tuned for more updates and surprises coming your way!

 

Q) Social media has played a key part in your career; why would you consider this to be an important way to connect with your fans?

A) In the past, fans didn’t have the same level of access to their favorite artists. However, with the rise of digital platforms, artists can now engage more directly with their audience. This direct connection allows artists to better understand their fans’ preferences, gather feedback and even involve them in the creative process. It’s a fantastic way to build a stronger sense of community and connection between artists and their supporters.

 

Q) If you were to choose three artists to share the stage with, who would those be and why?

A) If we could choose three artists to share the stage with, it would be Grupo Frontera, Santa Fe Klan and Los Ángeles Azules. We admire their talent and the unique energy they bring to their music. Sharing the stage with them would be a dream come true, as it would allow us to collaborate with artists whose work we deeply respect and appreciate.
