Maggie – Big Brother
Q. What made you want to be a part of the show “Big Brother 6”?
A. Oh, you know I’ve seen previous episodes and it looked like a lot of fun. All of the games, competitions, anyone who loves to play games, you know that’s the show.
Q. Did you have a strategy with Eric before entering the house?
A. Yeah, actually we thought we were going to go in there and first of all not be discovered, obviously. We wanted to split into two separate groups but we ended up really getting along with the same people. So, that strategy went out the door.
Q. What did you learn about yourself from being inside the house?
A. I learned I had a lot more self-control than I thought I did. There were a lot of situations that were really heated and really emotional. I was able to keep my composure when it was extremely challenging.
Q. What did you miss most about the outside world while being on “Big Brother 6”?
A. Everything. Absolutely everything; I missed just walking down the street. I missed TV, I missed the phone, music, most of all music, I didn’t have music any music inside the house. I would say that is the biggest one.
Q. Is there anything that you would have done differently?
A. I think I would have taken the game a little less seriously. I really fell in love with the people I was playing with. That made it a little bit more difficult for some of the decisions. I think that I would have taken the game with a less serious tone.
Q. What part of the house did you enjoy the most?
A. The HOH bedroom of course!
Q. Do you have any advice for future contestants on the show?
A. Go in there and always think about adjusting the game. If you don’t, you get carried away in a lot of things that you don’t want to get involved in. If you go in there and know you are just playing a game like it’s a deck of cards, I think you’ll make it through.
Q. What are you plans for your newly acquired money?
A. I have no idea, I know I have some gifts I need to get for people. I have not decided what I am going to do yet.
Q. What helped sustain you throughout the entire “Big Brother 6” competition?
A. The friends that I made in there, I had a lot of fun with the people that were in my alliance.
Q. At the beginning, did you ever think that you would make it this far?
A. No, I actually thought I was going to be evicted in week three. Then I was told every single week after that I was going to be evicted. Each week I was playing it week by week because I really thought I was going to be gone.
Q. Did you and James get a chance to talk and maybe reconcile after the show?
A. No, we haven’t talked yet, I am sure I’ll see him at the wrap party.
Q. Who do you plan on keeping in touch with?
A. I really plan on keeping in touch with Beau, Ivette, Jennifer and April and of course Eric.
Q. What are your plans following your time on the show?
A. I really want to go back to work. I just want to return to a normal life style.
Q. What would you like to say to viewers who were fans and supporters of you while you were a part of the house?
A. Thank you so much, it was a very difficult experience. I really appreciate anyone who supported me and the way I played the game. It means the world to me, it absolutely does.
