Q) How would you describe your sound?

Dexy: Like a meteor shower during an eclipse or a big wave crashing on a beach

 

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

Dexy: Anything that strikes a chord emotionally and takes me out of reality.

 

Q) Your new song “Armour” is out. What is the song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

Dexy: We don’t have a specific process. We’re a bit too spontaneous so it’s different every time, recently, I’m coming up with the lyrics first.

 

Q) What kind of fan feedback have you been receiving to the single? 

Dexy: Great! It’s been really positive

 

Q) What do you hope people take away from pressing play on “Armour?”

Dexy: Whatever comes naturally, we hope people turn it up loud and get lost in it.

 

Q) our previous releases include tracks like “Black Magic,” “Space” and “Crystals.” Do you have a favorite song or one that was more emotional for you to create? 

Dexy: “Crystals”

 

Q) With these songs out, will there be a full album or EP coming out in the near future?

Dexy: Our new album will be out late spring 2025 on Metropolis Records

 

Q) You will be playing in San Diego next year. What songs do you most enjoy performing live and what can people expect from the show? 

Dexy: We’re enjoying playing the new songs and adding in some older favorites, people can expect some surprises.

 

Q) What has it meant to you to get more recognition for your music?

Dexy: It means a lot to have anyone connect with our music. We’re humbled by any recognition we get and appreciate people taking the time to listen.

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future? 

Dexy: Chris and I are collaborating with an LA based artist called Night Rose. We produced her first EP coming out next year.

 

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why? 

Dexy: Been listening to Principe Valiente and Lost Signal. Both artists are on the same label as us and did remixes of our songs.

 

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?
