Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as soulful Pop/R&B

 

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Definitely Michael Jackson since I started performing as young Michael Jackson and as far as songwriting, I would have to say I’m inspired by Babyface.

 

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “We in the Moment.”

A) “We In the Moment” is an invitation to immerse yourself in the present, to let go of the past and future, and to be fully alive in the now.

 

Q) What kind of fan response have you been receiving to this track?

A) I’ve gotten a lot of love from the song – from reaction videos to people doing Tik Toks!

 

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) It tells the story perfectly how I pictured it in my head while creating the song – two people in the moment having a night on the town.

 

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) A lot of times a melody just pops in my head before hearing the music and I’ll make sure to record a voice memo on my phone just so I don’t lose it.

 

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I usually write my songs myself and then sometimes I’ll collab with other songwriters.

 

Q) With “We in the Moment” out now, will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Yes, EP coming soon!

 

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) H.E.R.

 

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them? 

A) Currently I’ve been listening to October London. I really like his smooth vocals, he’s definitely a crooner.

 

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Being able to connect with my fans at my fingertips is very important and most importantly to build a relationship with.
