Q) We’ll be seeing you soon on a new episode of “Found.” How did you come to be a part of the series?

A) I was lucky enough to get an audition for “Found.” I watched an episode beforehand and knew right away I wanted to be part of the show. I really connected to the character I was auditioning for—it just felt like I understood him—so I “became him” during the audition.

Q) Were you a fan of the show before getting to make an appearance?

A) I hadn’t seen it before I got the audition, but once I watched the first episode, I became a huge fan. The writing is so powerful, and the performances are incredible.

Q) Please tell us the breakdown you received for your character, Ren.

A) The scene I auditioned with isn’t actually in the episode I appear in, but it gave me a strong sense of who Ren is. He’s someone with deep emotions, and I really felt for him right away.

Q) We know that Gabi will be revisiting some of her old cases in this episode. How does she connect to Ren?

A) Gabi (Shanola) becomes a lifeline for Ren. She knows what it feels like to be forgotten or not taken seriously, so she makes sure Ren is seen and heard. It’s such a powerful connection.

Q) Shanola Hampton is a powerhouse on this series. Talk about getting to work with her.

A) Shanola is AMAZING and she brings so much heart and leadership. Fun fact—she comes to set singing and dancing, and it gets everyone hyped up and ready to work. It was such a fun and kind environment on set, thanks to her and the whole team.

Q) What were some of your favorite scenes to film for “Found?”

A) I loved filming the hospital scene where I’m reunited with my fiancée, played by Lily Moore. It was emotional, and I enjoyed tapping into that side of myself for the role. It’s a moment that really stayed with me.

Q) I know you’ve been acting for some time, but how do you shake off a long day of being on set?

A) Some days can be long and you might be right back the next day, so there’s not always time to rest completely. Usually, I get back to the hotel, take a shower, grab some food, maybe watch a little TV—and then my brain resets so I can get ready to dive into the next scene.

Q) What are the other projects that you have been busy working on?

A) I’m getting ready to start filming a movie called Wish Watch, which I’m really excited about. I’m also continuing my advocacy work with Best Buddies and Hearts of Joy International – both organizations mean a lot to me. And I’ve been sharing my journey on social media to inspire others and help people feel more connected. There’s more coming soon, so stay tuned
