Interviews
Meghan Heffern – What If
Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?
A) Currently, I am working on a lovely indie movie called A Sunday Kind of Love.
Q) Please tell us the premise for your film What If and about your character Tabby.
A) What If is about falling in love with your best friend. What the heck do you do? Tabby is one of Zoe Kazan’s coworkers/friends in the film.
Q) What made you want to be a part of the movie?
A) The script and the casting were pretty outstanding. The fact that Toronto was playing Toronto and Michael Dowse was directing it really was a no-brainer.
Q) Was there anything you added to the role that wasn’t originally scripted for you?
A) We got to improv a lot in our scenes. Michael would leave the camera rolling and we would hear him giggling from the monitor.
Q) You costar with Daniel Radcliffe. What was it like working with him?
A) Dan is such a great guy. It was really easy to like him and to feel comfortable around him.
Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming the movie?
A) I just loved shooting around Toronto. Exploring the city through work was awesome.
Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you will receive when the film premieres?
A) Yes! I feel like we have this built in audience with all the Harry Potter fans. They have been really supportive.
Q) What do you think it is about What If that will make people want to go and see it?
A) I think every girl loves a good romantic comedy. This is one the guys will love, too. I promise!
Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?
A) Thank you!!! It’s such a tough road to follow, but it makes everything worth while when people (who aren’t your Mom and Nanna) support what you are doing.
