Miranda Cosgrove – Drake & Josh

Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) I just wrapped the fourth season Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh.”

Q) Please tell us about your character Megan on “Drake & Josh.”

A) I get to do a bunch of pranks and I am always doing evil things to Drake and Josh. It’s really fun because I get to do all sorts of crazy things this season.

Q) What made you originally want to be a part of the show?

A) When I first auditioned for the show, I knew who they were because I had seen them on “The Amanda Show.” I was so excited about the audition because I loved “The Amanda Show.” I had always thought they seemed really cool. When I got to the last call back, I got to meet Josh since I got to read with him. I thought, “I have to get this part!” He was just so cool when I met him and he’s really funny. When I got it, I was just so excited!

Q) What is it like working with Drake Bell and Josh Peck?

A) They are really cool. Drake is really awesome! He’s really into the 80’s and vintage things. He likes to swing dance. You can’t be around Josh because you’ll be laughing so hard that your stomach hurts.

Q) What is new about your character this season?

A) Most of all, I am just doing a bunch of new pranks to Drake and Josh. I do a really amazing one where I make them fall through the garage. They fall through their rooms to the garage. In the past, I’ve done a bunch of things like thrown tomatoes at them.

Q) What has been your most memorable moment from filming the show?

A) Every single day has a memorable moment working with those guys. Drake taught me how to swing dance, which was really fun. I kind of want to keep doing it.

Q) Does comedic timing come easily to you or is it something that you work at?

A) My mom is really funny. Maybe I get it from her?!

Q) Why should viewers tune in to see “Drake and Josh” this season?

A) Drake is getting his first girlfriend that will be long term. Normally, he has a girlfriend in one episode and you never see her again. That’s kind of cool! The cast has a lot more jokes and it’s really funny this season.

Q) You’re also in the movie The Last of the Mustangs. Please tell us about the film and your character.

A) I play a girl that comes from the city and goes to a ranch for the summer. She meets another girl that lives on the ranch and they end up finding a wild Mustang. The girls end up taming it. It was a really fun movie to do!

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) I go to the movies and hang out with friends.
