When Kate (Obenreder), a bright college student struggling to pay her way through school, lands the summer job of her dreams working as a nanny on an isolated vineyard in northern California, it seems like it’s too good to be true. The little girl in her charge, Rose, (Violet Hicks, “Empire”) is an angel. And Kate and Mrs. Grey, (Danielle Bisutti, “CSI: Miami”), the housekeeper, have an instant connection.

But everything changes when Rose’s brother, Jack, (Tucker Meek, “Too Close to Home,”) unexpectedly returns from boarding school, after being expelled for fighting with another student.

With Jack’s return, a series of increasingly dangerous events begin to unfold.  First Rose is injured and then Kate comes under attack as well.  But what disturbs Kate most is Mrs. Grey’s unwillingness to admit that Jack might be behind these aggressions.  At the same time, after discovering a video diary recorded by Jack and Rose’s recently deceased mother, Kate begins to suspect something might be “off” about Jack.  Secretly, she begins tracking down Jack’s medical records and interviewing the doctor who delivered Jack.

After realizing that there’s more to the mystery than anyone knows, Kate faces the challenge of her life: protecting Rose from suffering the same fate as her mother — and escaping the murderous rage of THE NANNY KILLER.
