Q) Your new single “Not The Girl” is a brilliant upbeat song with 80s synth woven through it. What was the particular inspiration behind the song?

Q) Initially it was about a boy I went out with for a bit, but turned out that I liked him way more than I liked him. However, this was all about two years ago and I’m so over him. I suppose the meaning of the song has changed a bit for me since as I now have new emotions, I tried to reflect these in the music video

Q) The video for the single depicts you as a nervous woman auditioning whilst singing “Not the Girl,” only for you to grow in confidence and really own the performance. How much does this reflect the lyrics of song?

A) This is exactly how i feel the lyrics reflect now.

Q) What are some scenes that stand out to you from the video?

Q) My favorite scene was the final scene. Not only was it the most fun to film, but I love the way it was shot too!

Q) Your debut EP Naked will be released on 17th April. What are some themes fans will see you exploring?

A) Boys, boys, not feeling good enough, stresses of working in an industry and more boys.

Q) What message do you hope listeners take away from your music of this particular EP?

A) I hope it can resonate with some listeners, as a songwriter that is always my main goal in writing a lyric. I hope people can relate.

Q) What’s your favorite song that you’ve released so far?

A) People like me!

Q) You’ve had hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify in various different countries. How does it feel to know that people all over the world are listening to your music?

A) It’s really very strange but extremely humbling, aside from the many negatives of streaming, etc. and the influence technology has had on the music industry. I do see platforms like Spotify as an incredible thing. How else would these people discover me?! I think it’s wonderful.

Q) What advice do you have for up and coming musicians?

A) Stick to creating what. YOU want to create, be true to your artistic self. Love what you do and others will too.

Q) Where in the world would you most like to play? 

A) Nashville, for sure.

Q) Who were your favorite artists growing up? Any guilty pleasures?

A) T- Swift all the way!

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and those who have supported you throughout your journey so far? 

A) That I hope they’re still excited by the new stuff I’m putting out. Thank you for sticking around and there’s deffo more to come. xx
