Nick Hawk – Gigolos

By  |

Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I’m in talks for a few films, possible spin-off TV show, another soundtrack song for a film and shopping around producers and beats for my next track. I’m also speaking at pick-up artist conventions and I’m pursuing that end of the business. I really enjoy teaching men how to treat women and develop their confidence. I’m also in talks with Deja Vu to makeover, relaunch and host a gentleman’s club in Las Vegas. I’m definitely staying busy, but at this point in my life I’m allowing myself to have some fun as well. I’m a big time snowboarder and I take my younger brother on a trip every year. We went to Colorado last month. I’m getting certified and have two scuba diving trips planned. I just released my newest track “I’m Outta This World.” I also am finishing up my first “Nick Haw Sex Chronicles” story that will be released soon.

Q) How did you originally become a gigolo?

A) I was running my companyhttp://www.ExplicitStrippers.com full time, stripping for it myself, modeling and in my fourth year studying acting when Garren James with Cowboys For Angels approached me to work for his company. And the rest is history!

Q) What made you want to be a part of Showtime’s series “Gigolos?”

A) “Gigalos” approached me and it was definitely a tough decision. I wasn’t supposed to do reality shows or adult shows to have a successful acting career and I spent a lot of time working my ass off to do so. But it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up and it’s been an amazing ride.

Q) What kind of reaction have you gotten from the show?

A) I thought there would be much more animosity towards us and the show, but we have gotten great feedback from viewers and critics. From day one, I said I would only be a part of it if we took a fun, positive approach and shed a good light on the industry. It’s a little bit of a fight to do so with a reality show, but I’m very proud of where we are today. The beginning was a little rough, but we’re on track now and each season has been better than the previous. I don’t think people knew what to think early on as well, but we’ve now earned our respect. I honestly feel we are giving back to the world, making it a better, more honest, open place and doing a great thing for it.

Q) Were there any segments filmed that you wish had been excluded?

A) I don’t have any regrets. What’s the point? I’ve taken myself out of a few situations, but not many. I’ve spoken my mind freely from day one and if I’m not comfortable doing something I sure the hell won’t be doing it, but I’m pretty open to some outrageous-crazy-shit. I ask for it. We’ve yet to find a client who has an Elvis fetish. I’ve been wanting to do my damn impersonation for a while now.

Q) What has been your most memorable moment from filming?

A) “Gigolos” has been a huge part of the last five years of my life. It brought me to Las Vegas permanently, was there when I got my dogs, my house and has promoted me and enabled me to travel to some magnificent places and meet some magnificent people. And even if my music hasn’t been shown in the best light, they did shoot my first music video and set up my first performance, which were both fun as hell amazing feelings of accomplishment. Every aspect about “Gigolos” has improved my life in some way and that’s what I wish to do for others…And I guess the teddy bear scene stands out a little as well.

Q) What common misconceptions about gigolos are there that you wish to squash?

A) I think they’re squashed, if there were any. There really wasn’t too much of what we do out there before the show. I guess escorts of any kind probably didn’t have the best perception, but we classed it up and took it to another level. There weren’t many quality gigolosand there were very few clients. We definitely made it an expectable and exciting experience that many women now get to enjoy.

Q) What do you think it is about the show “Gigolos” that has made it so popular?

A) It’s something new, fresh and I said earlier it’s positive and fun. We developed more into an adult comedy with a positive message and I couldn’t be happier. I’m glad our show and the world is making a turn for the better. There’s a lot on television that makes me want to lose hope.

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

A) Travel, snowboard, take my boat out, wakeboard, surf, snorkel, hike with my dogs, mountain bike, train my ass off, Jiu Jitsu, MMA, be creative, work on my house, create music, club, socialize, meet women, dance, get tattoos, watch good movies and TV shows, eat healthy food, develop my brand, design shirts and jewelry. I’m working on new bandanas right now with a lot of my tattoos being the design. I write music and I’m working on books. I read non-fiction. I fence. You name it!

Q) Is there anything you would like to tease about what is to come this season on the show?

A) You may never hear from me again if I do that…There might be some very painful pole dancing…And some more boobs.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and the show?

A) We really do have the best fans and supporters and the ones who follow me on social media know I love em. It’s a compliment every time someone asks for a picture, buys something from my online store or books an appointment with me. And I also get many emails and messages saying that I inspire people, which drives me to be better and do even more.
