Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I just wrapped up a film. It was a psychological film called The Relic with Jeri Ryan and William Shatner. That will be out in the next couple of months

Q) Talk about your film Stalked By A Reality Star.

A) They switched the name up on me! It was originally called The Girl Who Cried Wolf. Then, they switched it up to a classic Lifetime title. We had a really great cast and writing and the producers were cool. It was a really great project and we made it happen fairly quickly.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film?

A) The character was great. It’s really over the top and really funny. It’s really three dimensional and a little bit of a split personality. He’s a little bit of a sociopath. I’ve always wanted to play a bad guy so any chance that I get to do something like that I usually try to make it work.

Q) Was there anything you added to your role that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) throughout the whole film, I was definitely trying to lean on my own rendition of it. It probably went a lot differently then the way they wrote it. I think that is usually how it goes in these films.

Q) This is such a dark role. How did you get into character?

A) I don’t know. I’ve been studying acting for a long time and I’m always inspired by certain actors and certain characters that fit the same niche that Brad does. So, when I saw it I obviously tried to ground in the reality star like “The Bachelor” for that side of him. But he’s got this interesting relationship with his mother so I tried to harness that. It was a bit like Norman Bates and his mother and how he seemed on the outside compared to how he was behind closed doors. So, some of the classics inspired me.

Q) Were you and costar Emily Bader able to spend much time together before filming to develop your onscreen chemistry?

A) We met on set. Actually, we met a cast and crew dinner a couple days before we started filming so we could all get to know each other, go over the script and really just put a face to the name. She was cool and such a sweetheart. For her being rather new, she was phenomenal and so professional and wildly prepared. She just went above and beyond my expectations. So, it was really cool.

Q) Was there any advice/direction that director Robert Malenfant offered that you took to heart while filming?

A) I’m sure he dropped a couple key phrases that probably stuck with me at the time. We meshed and gelled right away at the top. I had a clear vision for this character and thankfully he allowed us to kind of direct a little bit. So, I really got to take the reins on the character overall.

Q) I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask if you were a fan of any reality shows.

A) [laughs] Honestly, not to be that actor guy who says he doesn’t watch reality shows, but I really don’t. I do love “The Voice.” It’s one of the non-scripted shows (even though it’s a little scripted). Everything is a little scripted nowadays.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming Stalked By A Reality Star?

A) The last scene of the film was really high emotions and intense for the character. I think the audience is going to be surprised by some of the twists of how it all unravels.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to what the fans have to say about the film?

A) Oh, always. I love to hear what the fans have to say and I have some of the best fans from “Days of Our Lives” and my other projects. They’ve been loyal since my “The Price is Right” days and male modeling. They are always supportive. So, it’s nice to see some familiar faces on social media who have been there since the beginning.

Q) What do you think it is about this movie that will make it a Lifetime fan favorite?

A) It’s edgy, fun and relatable in the sense of what these “Bachelor” type of guys are. So, it’s a fun little thriller and time out, but there are some definitely relatable topics. It’s about a relationship with somebody older dating somebody younger. But there are definitely some relatable moments. I’m really excited for it.

Q) Will we be getting to see Ben Weston in more upcoming “Days of Our Lives” episodes?

A) You’ll see a lot of Ben in the upcoming episodes.

Q) What does it mean to you to be a part of such an iconic series?

A) it’s been great! It’s become my home base for the past few years, on and off. Now, I’m back on a very consistent basis there. I think it’s great and it’s a testament to their writing and I believe some of my work as the character. Ben could have easily been written off and we brought him back multiple times. I really like the character and the writing has been great. Keep it going!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you very much and keep it coming!
