Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I’m kind of busy with Season 3 of “See Dad Run.” I’m also kind of working on my music. We’ll see what happens when I have some time off from the show to do a movie or something like that.

Q) How do you plan on releasing your next music? An EP? An album?

A) I don’t even know yet! I am just kind of figuring out my sound now, trying out songs and finding what I like as an artist. I would definitely put out songs and an album in the future.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with and look to for inspiration?

A) Well, I love bands like Maroon 5 and One Republic. I love the song “Say Something” by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. To do be to do something cool like that would be amazing.

Q) We’re getting to see you on “See Dad Run.” What do you think it is about the show that has struck such a chord with viewers?

A) What drew me to the show is that it’s a family show. There is something for everyone. Teenagers can watch it and so can their siblings and parents. There is something for everyone, which is so awesome. It’s so relatable!

Q) Is there a chance for the show to begin airing internationally soon?

A) They are working on getting it to air internationally. I believe it is coming to Asia soon.

Q) The show is hilarious! Is comedic timing something you’ve been working on?

A) I started in movies in dramas and then I booked the show “Zeke & Luther” for Disney when I was nine years old. I did comedy for four years on that show. I wasn’t really comfortable with comedy when I started with it and then I just got so much experience. I feel like I learned so much from the four years of being on that show. Now, I am onto this and doing the show every week is really where you get all of your practice.

Q) What can you tease is upcoming on “See Dad Run?”

A) We have the rest of Season 2 to air. My favorite episode still hasn’t aired yet. You’ll get to see where Emily learns to drive. We’re working on Season 3 right now where there are a bunch of scenes where Emily is growing up and trying to figure out who she is. I hope the audience will enjoy that.

Q) What is your favorite aspect of playing Emily?

A) There is so much! I love being able to play a teenager. She’s a normal teenager and I get to bring my experiences to that and take from that as well in my life. I love being able to portray that and working with everyone. The cast is amazing and I love her wardrobe! There isn’t anything that I don’t like about playing Emily.

Q) Was there anything that you added to the role that wasn’t originally scripted for you?

A) When we started, Emily was a typical teenager and we had to mold the character and figure out who she is. If someone else had been playing the part it would become a different role. I sat down with the writers and everyone and they really got to know me. I’m really into school and I love Math. So, I kind of brought that to the character, too. She’s very studious and straight-laced. I think I’ve definitely added to who the character is.

Q) What challenges you about playing Emily?

A) I’m the youngest of two. I’m the younger sibling and Emily is the older sibling. She has two younger siblings. I think that one of the challenging things is being an older sister, but it’s fun!

Q) Who are some guest stars to come in Season 3?

A) We have some special guests for Season 3 that I am very excited about!

Q) Being in the spotlight from the show, how do you deal with being a role model to young viewers and fans?

A) I love that aspect of what I do! It’s important to me, even if I wasn’t on the show, to be a role model. I take it very seriously as well. It’s important for me to be a good example and I think, “Would I want my future daughter looking up to this person?” It’s a big responsibility, but I enjoy it and take pride in it. It’s important to me make good decisions and be the best role model I can be.

Q) You have amazing style! What are some quick fashion tips you would give to fans?

A) My number one tip is layer! It’s so much fun and when ever I get dressed as Emily on set, especially, it makes it so much more fun. I love making outfits something different by adding different pieces and layering it. It’s a great way to have your own style. I also love trends, but if something doesn’t fit you, if it doesn’t work on you or you don’t think it’s your style then don’t do it just for the sake of it being a trend.
