Sarantos – Somethin’ To Believe
By: Lisa Steinberg
Q) You’ve got a couple of new albums out at the moment. What made you want to release them back-to-back?
A) Love surprising the fans!
Q) One album is a Healing Instrumental CD. Why did you decide to refrain from adding lyrics to these songs?
A) I love to do some instrumental CDs where fans can focus on the music and don’t have to worry about lyrics. Just see where the music takes you.
Q) What makes this new album perfect for those of any religion?
A) Because it doesn’t lay claim to any single religion being better than the other even though, obviously, I am Christian and named it Christian Healing Instrumentals.
This CD is for anyone who needs healing, whether you are Christian or not. It’s not my intention to try and shove religion down anyone’s throat. Whether you believe in God or not, that’s your own decision. I do though and I am not afraid to admit it. But that doesn’t mean I can’t coexist with atheists or non-Christians. Regardless of your persuasion, healing is something we all need at one point in our lives. We only get one life. It’s never perfect. And that’s ok. Live your life. Learn from your mistakes. Love one another. Love daily. Love fiercely.
Q) Healing Christian Prayer & Worship Instrumentals Vol 1 is dedicated to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Why is this institute so close to your heart?
A) I grew up there and it went bankrupt and reopened in a new smaller church. I want to give back.
Q) What do you hope listeners take away from this album – either as an emotion or a message?
A) Let’s keep climbing together. We’ve all made mistakes.
Q) For Somethin’ To Believe you’ve noted this is you finally figuring out vocal melodies. Why was this mission so important to you?
A) Because I got tired of hearing people tell me I was off key. I worked really hard over the last ten years and this was the final missing piece. I’m so excited.
Q) On top of new music, you have also released a new fiction fantasy book. Please tell us the premise.
A) Something to Believe in is the first of a new fantasy trilogy by Sarantos. A new world opens up, not only for the readers, but also for Phineas Hart who will discover everything is so much bigger than he always believed.
Q) You’re a musician, an author and a poet. Is there anything else you would like to try your hand at?
A) I’ve started writing screenplays.
Q) What does 2024 have in store for you?
A) Same as always – new songs, lyric videos, music videos, book chapters and poems every month bringing my music to life.
Q) What would you like to say to everyone that are your fans and supporters?
A) Thanks to all of my fans for your dedication, love and support.
