Q) You are pregnant with your second child. How has it been balancing work and motherhood and what are some tips you have learned?

A) It’s not the easiest, but when you have a great partner like I do, it makes it a lot easier. FaceTime is a huge part of staying connected, especially when I am in Chicago shooting. The biggest tip I’ve learned is to have FaceTime!

Q) Will dynamics between Fiona and V shift this season with Fiona getting married?

A) No, not particularly. Wait, who said Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is getting married?! Is this a trick question? Are you trying to get a spoiler out of me?

Q) The Fiona and V relationship seems to be the strongest in Fiona’s life. What makes their relationship work so well?

A) They are honest with each other, even if it is not what the other wants to hear. The way they speak and love each other is pure.

Q) What is your process like to get through the hilarious and yet sometimes controversial “Shameless” scenes?

A) At this point, it’s just another day at the office.

Q) What will be some of the pitfalls that V and Kevin face this season with their new house and growing family?

A) They are business owners now so this is a different way of living for them. Luckily, they have Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter) to help out with everything. Obviously, it’s “Shameless” so you’ll just have to watch the season to see some of the new developments.

Q) Will Sasso guest stars this season. What was one of your favorite behind the scenes moments from working with him?

A) Will is hilarious! I just loved watching the dynamic of him and Steve Howey. I really enjoyed working with him.

Q) What has been the most rewarding part of being on “Shameless?”

A) Being with my cast! We are family, we’ve experienced A LOT of life together and we are still very much in love!

Q) Is there a specific moment you can tease form this season you are most looking forward to checking out fan reactions?

A) Nope! I will say the fans have had, and will continue to have, plenty to react to!

Q) “Shameless” is getting a season seven! What would you like to see from V next?

A) I’d like to see more of her family. We really haven’t seen that.

Q) What do you hope fans take away from watching this season?

A) I hope fans walk away from this season excited that we are returning for seven! I want them to want more.
