Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Our new sound reminds me of a big fast sexy angsty truck that has everywhere to go.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Here’s a list of each of our influences: Brand New, Saves The Day, Blink 182, The Starting line, Pantera, Miles Davis, NOFX and Guthrie Govan.

Q) The band took some time off and recently reemerged. How did that downtime restart your love of music and influence your sound?

A) The love never faded away. When the band grew apart on the last push it forced us to take a different approach. We spent the downtime working on becoming self-reliant.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Julia Gulia.”

A) The track is about what was going on in my life at the time it was written. The light hearted melody of the chorus is a silver lining just like the joy of working for the band was our silver lining. We couldn’t bear to call the song “Over You” and we were watching random clips of The Wedding Singer on YouTube on our breaks demoing.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) It’s a classic breakup song.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Usually will get together in the Jack Shack around 7pm, mess around and smile, get super stoned and drink liquor until an idea hits. This usually happens around 12-1am. Then, we will stay up till 6am making a lil shit demo. Honestly, it’s the best.

Q) What can fans expect from a live Stages & Stereos performance?

A) Raw, Fun, Fast, Smiles

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) The Electric Factory in Philly, Texas

Q) Will there be an EP or full album coming in the near future?

A) We are making a record.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Bayside, Jimmy Eat World, Slayer and Rufio.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Creeper: Entirety In Your Arms. This record is a refreshing sound to my ears, fast, heartfelt and ghoulish. -Stephen

Moose Blood: Blush. Really enjoying the new Blush record. It sounds like the modern version of bands I would listen to growing up. -Daniel

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media keeps us connected and always interacting with fans. We try to make our post as real as possible, less boring and cookie cutter. Also, just responding to any fan keeps the interaction going. Never be afraid to say hello.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) That we are endlessly appreciative and that we hope to continue making music for years and years to come.
