Tetley Tea – Super Teas

As a big fan of tea, I was already familiar with the Tetley’s brand. When offered the chance to try their new “Super Teas,” I literally jumped! I had my choice of the new vitamin infused teas that were promoted to assist with a balanced lifestyle. I selected their Black Tea Vanilla with Added Caffeine and got to brewing!

Upon arriving at work, I steeped my first bag of “Tetley Super Black Tea” which is Black Tea Vanilla With Caffeine. I wasn’t used to the vanilla so it took about halfway through the cup to adjust to it. I’m not sure if it was the caffeine kicking in, but at that point I was enjoying myself. The package noted it offered a “robust, full-bodied flavor and aroma” and it delivered as he tea was sweet in taste and you could definitely taste (and smell) the vanilla scent. I would have just toned down the vanilla flavor a wee bit as it tasted almost as if creamer had been added to my cup.

Unfortunately, I dove in head first and had three bags that day. As one not used to having so much caffeine, I spent the day a little “whacky.” I didn’t realize it equated to three cups of coffee. Lesson learned! For fellow non-caffeine fans, be sure to read the box carefully and just sip it slowly so that you can pace yourself.

The box offers twenty bags of tea for a price of $3.99, which is quite fair. However, my only adjustment would be to request that each bag be wrapped individually to better preserve the flavor.

For fellow tea fans, I would recommend starting your day with Tetley’s Super Tea. If you are looking for something sweet with an added kick to jolt yourself for a big day ahead, brew a cup and take it easy.
