The Big Bang Theory – The Paintball Scattering

The episode opens with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) giving Amy (Mayim Bialik), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) champagne. For some reason, Sheldon wants Splenda in his, which Penny finds odd. It turns out it is because he is sweet and bubbly. The reason the are celebrating is because “Shamy” got their paper published. They have yet to read the comments because they don’t really want to know. Penny says that there was a time someone commented on her weight on Instagram. They decide to read the comments, which actually end up being positive. One says it could be the discovery of the decade.

At lunch the next day, Leonard is telling Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) that Penny wants to set up a paintball game. The guys joke about how their women want to shoot them when President Siebert (Joshua Malina) comes over to talk to Sheldon. He tells him he is a superstar and invites him to the private dining room. Amy is already there and excited that she has kiwi on her plate. The three of them sit together and talk about the paper. Sheldon is even given BBQ sauce and ketchup for his tater tots.

It turns out there are people who want to interview them, but President Siebert only wants Amy to do it because of her people skills. Sheldon is offended, but doesn’t help his case when he gets steak sauce instead of BBQ sauce. President Siebert offers him a chance to redeem himself, but he is too distracted by his lack of BBQ sauce. Amy finally screams for someone to give it to him.

Stuart (Kevin Sussman) and Denise (Lauren Lapkus) are at the comic book store. She jokes with him about breaking up with him and that she is dating someone else. He says he knows she is joking and then makes a comment with a random sci-fi reference—which leaves her questioning if he meant something else.

Raj and Anu (Rati Gupta) are discussing their wedding. Anu doesn’t want her mother involved, but instead wishes Raj would make the decisions, especially when it comes to flower arrangements. They go on to discuss cameras, which leads to him talking about how it allowed him to catch a raccoon stealing his cheese of the month. Denise says she needs a roommate, which freaks Stuart out, especially when Penny points out that it is a hint that she wants him to move in.

Sheldon helps Amy prepare for her interviews. He gives her flash cards, which she purposely leaves at home.

Stuart tells Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) about Denise wanting hint to move in. He says he freaked out and Raj says that if he were a cartoon, there would have been a Stuart shaped hole in the wall.

Raj gets an alert from Anu’s camera, which shows her with another guy.

Sheldon and Amy are eating in the special dining room. Amy asks if he feels guilty, but he says no and wants her to take a picture with the garlic knots.

President Siebert comes over to tell Amy the interviews she did are getting glowing reviews, making Sheldon feel jealous. At the paintball game, Penny asks Amy about the interview and is confused as to why she isn’t happier. Sheldon puts in his two cents, causing Penny to regret asking.

Denise and Penny are the team captains. Leonard is thrilled he was chosen first and Stuart is thrilled to be picked at all. Amy and Sheldon fight over the interviews, while Raj tells Anu that he knows about the man who went to her apartment. Denise shoots Stuart as punishment for running away…causing him to run away again.

Leonard and Penny just begin shooting each other after debating on how close they are standing to one another.

Amy and Sheldon continue fighting while Bernie steals the flag.

Stuart is on a bench after being shot by Denise and himself. He admits he is scared of losing her, which is why he is acting the way he is.

Anu is upset Raj was spying and she tells him he picked up his things. They start fighting about trust and realize they don’t know each other enough to get married.

Howard accidentally shoots Bernie and then they go to “kiss the bruise away.”

Anu, Amy and Sheldon all leave,while Denise goes to get the flag. However, she walks in on Bernie and Howard having sex.

Stuart and Denise admitting they don’t want to screw things up. He gives her a key to the house and they kiss.

Sheldon and Amy finally do an interview in tandem, which he runs away from.
