In Syria soldiers approach the area where a terrorist is located. Homelander (Antony Starr) lands in front of them and tells them to leave. He will handle it. Homelanderuses his heat vision to kill all of the terrorists while “Rock the Casbah” plays. He walks out unscathed and hands the Captain a vile of Compound V.
Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue) explains to the Secretary of the U.S. that someone replicated their Compound V. She tells him that Super Terrorists are real and now Superheroes are necessary to fight back. Raynor (Jennifer Esposito) calls Butcher (Karl Urban) and tells him that Vought is now being protected by Congress. The Boys are now considered criminals. She tells them to run for their lives.
Starlight (Erin Moriarty) returns home to her mother (Ann Cusack). She asks her mother if she was born a supe or created. At first her mother denies dosing her, but then breaks down and admits she was dosed and that her father left when he starting having doubts about their choice. Starlight is upset and angry at the revelation. She storms out.
The Deep (Chace Crawford) is celebrating what he believes is Vought calling him back. Instead, he finds out that he is not going back to The Seven. The Deep is saddened by the thought of staying in Ohio.
Butcher and Hughie (Jack Quaid) step out of a car in the woods. They walk up to a woman who turns out to be Mallory (Laila Robins). Butcher asks for help.
Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is admiring herself in a mirror. She tries to talk but cannot. She hears a noise and runs out of the bathroom to Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso). Moments later a smoke bomb crashes through the window. Frenchie pushes her into the room and seals it with a towel to protect her. The SWAT team grabs all three of them before they can escape.
Mallory refuses to help Butcher after the death of her grandchildren. The only assistance she offers Butcher is the information that Stillwell will know what makes Homelander weak. Mallory pleads Butcher to keep the rest of The Boys out of it.
Butcher and Hughie return back to the motel to find people waiting to catch them. Hughie wants to save the rest of the crew. Butcher refuses and continues after Homelander without Hughie.
Starlight is sitting in church when Hughie approaches her. He asks for her help. She storms out while Hughie explains more about Vought and the terrorist. She still walks away from him.
A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) is trying to pull a train with his broken leg. He is high on Compound V. His brother (Christian Keyes) tells him he cannot stand by while A-Train is on drugs and leaves.
At a Vought party Stillwell is offered a new higher position. Starlight is drunk when Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) reaches out to help her. She tells Starlight that she was similar to her when she started too. Maeve tells Starlight to keep being nice, annoying and true to herself. Homelander tells Stillwell he created the supe Terrorists. Stillwell seems terrified but then has sex with him in her office.
Frenchie and Mother’s Milk are in locked in a cage. Hughie goes back to the Motel and gets himself captured. He is thrown next to them in the same cage. He tells them Butcher isn’t coming but he brought his retainer so Frenchie can use it to pick the lock. They escape the cage.
Stillwell returns to her house to find Butcher in her kitchen. He tells her that she is Homelander’s weakness. Frenchie, Mother’s Milk and Hughie find Kimiko locked in a glass room in a hospital bed. They retreat behind a concrete wall where they are pinned down. Mother’s Milk runs to free Kimiko while Hughie covers for him. He returns with Kimiko and they run out of bullets. Starlight appears in time to save them. Before they can exit the building A-Train runs in. He confronts Starlight and Hughie. Thanks to the Compound V he has ingested he has a heart attack. Hughie tries to save him with CPR. Starlight takes over and Hughie leaves.
Stillwell is now wearing a vest of explosives. Homelander arrives and Butcher threatens to kill Stillwell. Homelander tells Butcher the sex with Becca was consensual. He asks Butcher what he wants in return for Stillwell. Butcher replies that he just wants to hurt Homelander. Homelander retorts that there is no proof that he killed Becca. Homelander then tells Stillwell that he knows she is still lying about Becca and the baby. He is angry and realizes that Stillwell does not care about him. She admits she is scared of Homelander. He kisses her and then kills her with his laser eyes. He turns to Butcher who detonates the bomb. Butcher wakes up on a lawn to see Homelander, Becca (Shantel VanSanten) and a boy standing there. Homelander saved him and took him to Becca. Homelander tells the boy he is his father and they are a family.
