The Loyal Pin – Episode 16
By: Lisa Steinberg
The episode opens up after Princess Anil has expressed to her father that she is in love with Lady Pin. His Highness (Apinan Prasertwattanakul) is shocked at his daughter’s confession and is confused. He tells her that no matter what, he doesn’t see how the two being together is possible. Anil (Rebecca Patricia Armstrong) tells him that’s why she came to beg for permission to let her stay single the rest of her life. He asks ifs he is certain that the love she has for Lady Pin is that of one between lovers. She confidently tells him yes. He asks her why did Lady Pin accept the marriage proposal from Khun Kuea. Anil explains that Pin does not want Anil to give up her royal title, and that she has explained to her mother that if she doesn’t let her stay with Pin, she will give up her royal title and they will run away together. Once again His Highness is surprised finding out that Princess Alisa already knew about Anil and Pin. He angrily remarks that he is the last to know about the two apparently. Anil tells him he is not the last, as Prince Arnon doesn’t know. He retorts to her what if he doesn’t allow them to be together, what would she do? She tells him flatly that her life as a Princess is like a pretty bird in a fine cage. She will never let anyone cage up her heart and imprison it again. He tells her there is a saying that it’s impossible to always get what you want. He wonders what makes her think she is different. She tells him because she is his daughter, and her life is her own to live. She explains that should she decide to live her life as her own, she would disappear from his life and his family’s life, she could have done it. However, she is still his daughter, and should she plan any course of action, she still wishes to have his permission or approval. He questions her if staying with the person she loves the most important thing in her life. She says that’s not entirely true. If that were the case she would have ran away to England with Lady Pin. But she loves her family so much. She says she doesn’t wish to have a proper marriage to put her father and family to shame, she just wants to be able to live with Lady Pin by her side at the Pine Palace for the rest of their lives. She says that people would only see them as best companions who chose to live a solitary life together. He asks her if he says no, does that mean she will choose to leave the palace. She tells him yes.
Outside on the palace grounds Lady Pin (Sarocha Chankimha) is still waiting worriedly for Anil to return. Anil forlornly comes to meet with Pin and Pin asks what Anil’s father has told her. She tells Pin that she has said everything to her father, and now it is up to him to decide.
His Highness stands in his study and Prince Anan comes to see him. He starts to tell his father that he would like to talk to him, but His Highness interrupts and tells him if it’s about Princess Anil, he doesn’t want to talk about it now. Prince Anan walks sadly down the stairs and encounters his mother as he is trudging down them. She wants to know what his father said. He shakes his his sadly and the two just stands there without any any other words shared.
In the Pine Palace, Princess Anil walks quietly into the dining room of the main Palace where Princess Alisa (Alicia Hiranprueck), Prince Arnon (Danny Luciano), Prince Anan (Kanin Stanley), and Parawatee (Lalichat Warawirojpol) all sit sullenly together. As Anil approaches the table, she goes to sit by her mother. She looks over at Princess Alisa and asks her where her father is. Princess Alisa says he only stays in his room and has not come out yet. Prince Anan suggests that Princess Anil sit down and that they begin to eat their meal. Prince Arnon comments that all of Princess Anil’s favorite dishes have been made. Princess Anil still stands struck and Princess Alisa tells her that she should sit down.
Together sit Prik (Orntara Poonsak) and Pia (Sutthatip Wutichaipradit) in front of Princess Padmika. Prik comments that since the day that Anil went to speak with His Highness, he has not come out of his room to eat anything. Padmika asks what Princess Alisa did then? Pia tells her that Princess Alisa could only let it be, and that His Highness didn’t even allow Prince Anan to see him. Padmika (Charm Osthanond) says His Highness must be furious, and that this is such a serious issue for their palace, and it has never happened before. She says that His Highness must be pondering about it hard.
Princess Anil sits sadly n the steps within the main palace all by herself. Her mother approaches and sits down next to her. She asks Anil what she would do if her father doesn’t approve of her and Lady Pin. Anil says she plans to leave the palace, and move to England with Lady Pin. Princess Alisa asks if Anil is aware of the consequences of her decision, as living in England won’t be as comfortable and easy as life is for Anil at the palace. She tells her mother that she is aware, and that she and Lady Pin will try to find jobs and build a family there. Her mother says that if it is her happiness, and Anil has deeply reflected on it, she will not stop it. She just wants Anil to know that she will always be there for her, and will always care for her as well. They share a hug together. Princess Alisa asks Anil if she has told her aunt about her plan to leave with Lady Pin to England. Princess Anil cries. She tells her mother no. Princess Alisa says that Princess Padmika loves Lady Pin dearly, and wonders if she will let Anil take her niece away from her. Anil confesses that she is worried about that too.
Princess Padmika stands outside on palace grounds and Lady Pin approaches her. Padmika turns to Pin and tells her that she would like to apologize to her. She tells her for trying to force her into a marriage and putting Pin in distress. Padmika asks Pin for forgiveness. Pin tells her that she understands that Padmika loves her more than anyone, and everything Padmika does is because she wishes Pin to have the best in life. She goes on to say that she has never felt mad or anger at Padmika. Padmika says however her well wishes almost destroyed the rest of Pin’s life. Pin rubs Panika’s hand and looks comfortingly at her. She says without Padmika, she would never be the person she is today. Padmika cries and they share a hug together. Pia interrupts them and tells Padmika that Princess Alisa would like to see her.
Princess Padmika meets with Princess Alisa in the main Palace. Princess Alisa tells Padmika that she is giving her and Lady Pin some gifts. Padmika questions why, as she and Lady Pin have not done any merit or virtue to deserve the gifts. Princess Alisa says she only wishes to do it on her own merit and satisfaction. Padmika tries to interject again but Princess Alisa stops her. Princess Alisa shows Padmika a beautiful set of diamond earrings and diamond necklace as well as a diamond bracelet and says that she would like to give them to Lady Pin. Princess Alisa shows Padmika another gorgeous diamond necklace and tells her that it is for her. Padmika questions by Princess Alisa giving them such valuable gifts, is she expecting something in return? Princess Alisa says that Padmika should keep in mind that she is doing the most justifiable and appropriate thing. Padmika walks into the Lotus Palace with the jewelry boxes, and she finds Princess Anil waiting for her. The two sit on the couch and Padmika is shocked. She is surprised that Princess Anil and Lady Pin are going to move to England. Anil says it’s true, and that’s why she would like to ask Princess Padmika’s permission first. She wants to know what Anil’s father said. Anil explains that she told her father that she would not get married for the rest of her life. She only wishes to spend her life with Lady Pin, the woman she has always been in love with. She goes on telling her that her father has not said anything yet, and so therefore she believes that going to England is the only way that would allow her to be with Lady Pin. Padmika chuckles. She says now she understands why Princess Alisa gave her those beautiful jewelry gifts earlier, she must have predicted that would be Anil and Pin’s actions. Anil looks over shocked at the jewelry boxes. She says that she didn’t know that her mother was going to do that. Princess Padmika tells Anil that her mother must have known that Anil would come and talk to her. They both exchange smiles. She then asks Anil to allow her some time to think over what Anil is requesting. She goes on to say that she believes His Highness must not be very pleased with her decision to move to England. She suggests that Anil try to talk to His Highness again.
Princess Padmika gives Lady Pin the jewelry that Princess Alisa had presented her for Lady Pin. Lady Pin is confused. Padmika explains that the gifts signify that Princess Alisa has given Lady Pin her approval and would like to propose Lady Pin for Princess Anil. Padika tells her that as for their plan to leave and move to England, she doesn’t wish for Lady Pin to live that far away. But since Lady Pin is happy to do it, she will not stop her. She goes on to say that she only wishes for Lady Pin to consider again whether or not this is the best option there is. By moving away so suddenly despite His Highness’s disagreement, deep down, is she certain that she and Anil will find happiness in England?
Lady Pin sits in her room on her bed looking at the beautiful jewelry set given to her by Princess Anil and she thinks to herself.
Princess Anil meets with Prince Arnan in the Pine Palace and asks him what she should do. She cries and the two hug each other. Lady Pin walking towards the palace overhears the two unbeknownst to them. Anil tells him that she doesn’t want to leave the palace, but she fears she has no choice. He holds Anil close and comforts her. He tells her that some day their father will understand. He will try to talk to him for Anil.
Lady Pin goes to see Padmika and tells her she wishes to speak with His Highness to talk to him about Anil. She doesn’t like seeing Anil ant her father in a dispute, and she would like to do something for Princess Anil. Padika is upset. She asks what happens if Pin upsets His Highness further! Pin tells her whatever will be will be. But she won’t run away or stay silent. Padmika at first is shaken, but then she tells Pin that from now on, whatever she decides, she will always stand by her and support her. They share a sweet hug together.
Lady Pin goes to the main palace and encounters a servant about to bring His Highness a tray with water and food. She offers to take it to him in his study.
Princess Anil goes to the Lotus Palace and on her way inside she comes across Princess Padmika. She tells Padmika that she is there to see Lady Pin. Padmika tells her that Pin went to see Anil’s father.
Lady Pin enters His Highness’ study with the tray. He sits reading a book. She crouches down and sets the tray on a table. He knows she is there to speak about Anil, and tells her that she should say what she needs to. Pin tells him that she would like to apologize for causing him annoyance and irritation. She says she is fully aware that she is a commoner, and she has been presumptuous. He retorts that she still did it anyway. He angry retorts to her so what, hasn’t your wish already been fulfilled? Why are you telling me this? Lady Pin begins to cry. She tells him that Anil is a straightforward person who is honest with her feelings. She may look determined and strong on the outside, but inside she is in fact devastated. She goes on to tell him that Anil loves her family and if Anil must make this choice, it will be done with great pain. She says she doesn’t want his decision to create more scars on Anil’s heart. He yells at her asking if she is saying it is his fault! Lady Pin sobs now. She says that she is there to beg for his mercy, and not to forbid them from loving each other. She and the Princess only wish to stay by each other’s side and grow old together as companions. She promises him that they would not do anything to tarnish his name or reputation. She asks him for his approval. His Highness is livid! He shouts at her how dare she! First she blames it on him and then she has the audacity to ask him for his approval.
Anil runs up the entryway stairs to the main palace and looks around. She sees a defeated Lady Pin walk out of her father’s study room. They run to each other and hold one another tightly. Lady Pin cries against Anil’s shoulder. Anil asks her why she didn’t tell her first. Pin apologizes and she says she wanted to do something for Anil.
Back in His Highness’ study room, she tells him that she sincerely loves Anil. She doesn’t wish to see the person she loves living the rest of her life in distress. She tells him that if he wishes to punish her, she is willing to accept it. He smugly tells her that he will never lost Anil to anyone, she must stay here with him.
Walking into his room, His Highness seethes. Princess Alisa enters and asks him if he is really going to let Anil go. Doesn’t he love her anymore? Why must he put her in such a difficult situation? He tells her that he will never let Anil live outside of the palace, she must stay here with him. She asks him what about Lady Pin? He tells her if Lady Pin is a problem, then he will put an end to it.
The next day Pia walks with Lady Pin and they spot the front palace car. Suddenly Lady Pin hears Princess Padmika shouting. She shouts at men carrying suitcases for them to not take Lady Pin’s things away. Lady Pin approaches Padmika and asks her what is happening. Padmika cries and tells Pin that His Highness has ordered Pin to move out of the Lotus Palace immediately. Prik is crying, Padmika is crying, and Lady Pin is crying. One of the guards tells Pin to come with him. The guard grabs Pin by the arm and forces her to walk with him towards the car. As he does so, Pin looks scared. Princess Padmika and Prik cling to Pin’s other arm and Padmika yells to the guard asking if he can please not take Pin right now. He tells her he is afraid not and that Pin must get in the car. Padmika asks if she can at least say goodbye and he tells her no. The guard and Padmika each tug at one of Pin’s arms. He tells her that His Highness has forbidden any goodbye and that Pin must come with him. One guard restrains Pia as the other continues to pull Pin. Padmika asks where they are taking Pin and the guard tells her he is forbidden to say. Padmika cries and shouts while Pin cries and shouts. The guard forces Lady Pin into the car while Prik holds Padmika back and they sob. Lady Pin cries in the back of the car and looks out at the back window at Padmika, Prik, and Pia who are crying profusely. Padmika says she will go and talk to His Highness for Pin. They are all sobbing for Lady Pin as the car drives her away. Pin turns to the guard and asks where they are taking her and he ignores her.
The car is driving with Lady Pin and as they approach a location Lady Pin tries to open the car door but she is stopped and blindfolded. Lady Pin is suddenly in the dark and can’t see anything. She is eventually able to take off the blindfold and her eyes open again. When she is able to see clearly, there is a large portrait of her and Princess Anil together smiling at one another. She gets up off of the floor and looks at the portrait. There are candles lit all around and she is in the entry of the Pine Palace. Looking at her surroundings, Pin sees many special trinkets, gifts, their letters, photos, and paintings from throughout her relationship with Anil. There is even Sasa bunny. Lady Pin smiles and cries as she sees everything around her. When Pin finally turns around, she is surprised to see Princess Anil standing there smiling. Pin asks Anil what is happening, what is she doing there? Anil tells her it’s because that is their home. Pin doesn’t understand and asks Anil what she means.
Cut to Anil standing in the main palace looking up at the large staircase as her father stands at the top. She shouts up at him that she is there to beg him one last time, and to have sympathy for her. He asks her if she is certain she will not change her mind one day. That if one day she happens to meet the man Anil is interest in. Anil says that she has fallen in love with Lady Pin since she was fourteen years old and she will always love her for the rest of her life. He questions whether she is aware that her relationship is against their moral and tradition. No one has accepted or done it before. He asks if she is aware of the consequences of her choice. She confidently tells him that she is, and that it might not be accepted in society today, but in the future she truly believes that kind of love she has with Pin will be accepted widely. That the world that they live in be more open and of equality. Whether men or women, all will have freedom to portray themselves and their love and become whatever it is they want to be. Most importantly, marriage will be accepted both socially and legally regardless of gender. She believes that love is far beyond definition. It shall not be restricted between a man and a woman, like the love she has for Lady Pin. She has never considered anything else but Lady Pin’s heart. And until even now, the love she has for Lady Pin has never changed. No matter the hardship she might face in the future, she will not be afraid because she is surrounded by people who dearly love her like him, her mother, her brothers, and Lady Pin. That’s all she needs in her life.
In His Highness’ study, Prince Anan waits for his father. He tells him he would like to talk to him about Anil. His Highness asks the Prince if he knows how bold and daring his sister is. He confirms that he does. His father asks if he still wants to talk to him on her behalf and the Prince tells him yes. Prince Anan asks him if he is right in thinking that his father never intended to find a man for Anil. Were he to do that, he would have done it already. His father scolds him that he should not try to outsmart him! He says that he only has yet to find a man who deserves to be with Anil. Anan counters that if that were the case, wouldn’t it be impossible to find one in the future. He goes on to say that if Anil wishes to marry, it must be a Serene Highness Prince or someone with a higher rank. Among those that are of suitable rank, Anan does not see anyone who deserves to be with Anil. His Highness states that he has always been of the opinion that no one deserves to be with Anil. He says perhaps it’s because he is so fond of her. Anan says what if it happens to be a lady? Does a lady deserve to be with Anil? His Highness tells Anan that he is right. When he pictures Anil with a man, he often finds those men inferior to her. When he pictures Anil with Lady Pin, he does not find anything wrong with it. As if it is the right place for the both of them. Anan asks him to please not force Anil to act against her own will. He says that his own marriage was arranged out of conventionality, and he is not able to be with the woman that he truly loves. He doesn’t want his only sister to suffer the same fate as him. His Highness says whatever Anil wants is beyond what anyone could have ever done for her. He goes on to say that he loves Anil, and no matter what she wishes for, be it a star or the moon, he is willing to get it for her. Anan says but this time what she wants is the simplest thing ever, she only wishes to be with the person that she loves and grow old together. He questions how come his father cannot give that to Anil.
Flashback to His Highness and Princess Alisa having their conversation about what he has decided. He says if Lady Pin is the problem, he will solve it. Princess Alisa asks him what he is going to do. He tells her that he is going to talk to Princess Padmika and make her a proposal so that Lady Pin and Anil can finally live together. They both smile happily. Princess Alisa asks him what made him change his mind. He tells her that since Anil, Lady Pin, Prince Anan and even her all came to persuade him, if he stays silent, he is afraid the whole Palace might also come to try and persuade him.
Altogether sits Prince Anan, Prince Arnon, Princess Alissa, His Highness, Anil and Padmika. Prince Arnon opens a box filled with extravagant offerings at Padmika. She asks why she is being given so many valuable gifts. Princess Alisa tells her that they would like to make a proposal, where Lady Pin moves in to the Pine Palace and stay with Anil permanently. Padmika asks His Highness what makes him change his mind. He says that as long as Anil will stay, whatever she wishes for, he is more than willing to give it to her. Prince Anan says that as a matter of fact, his father was worrying that he still could not find anyone who was suitable for Anil. In his father’s view, none of the men deserves to be with Anil. Princess Alisa says that Anil’s request was perfectly in accordance with His Highness intentions. So, he agreed to grant her his approval for not for not having to get married in her life. Padmika says as long as His Highness is not against it, everything should be fine. Anil asks what about Padmika, will she agree to the proposal? Padika tells her that since her father has already said so, there is nothing else she could say. However, she tells Anil that she is afraid that she could not allow Lady Pin to move to the Pine Palace permanently. She says she can only allow Lady Pin to mainly stay there, but she has to come and visit her some times at the Lotus Palace. She says her heart will never be at peace if she has to see all of Lady Pin’s belongings being moved out of the room she has been staying in since she was a little girl. Anil kneels on the floor in front of Padmika and bows lowly to her. Anil tells her that is very kind of her. Padmika tells her there is one more thing that she would like to ask of Anil, she tells her to please take care of Lady Pin better than she has done. Anil promises her that she will always take care of Lady Pin for as long as she is breathing. The two share a tender hug.
Cut back to Lady Pin together with Princess Anil alone at the Pine Palace. Anil tells her that her father has already agreed with Princess Padmika to let them be together. And that this is their first night after the wedding. Pin smiles brightly. She then asks Anil what about her father’s order to have her moved out from the Lotus Palace? Anil tells her that was so that Lady Pin could move in with her. Pin asks Anil if she has been teasing her. Anil smiles and shakes her head, she tell her that it was just she didn’t get a chance to tell Lady Pin first. Pin comments that it means Prik, Pia and Princess Padmika also knew. Flash to the scene where Lady Pin was being dragged out of the Lotus Palace and Pia, Prik, and Padmika were all sobbing and yelling out for Lady Pin. After the car leaves their view fully, the trio breaks out in laughter instead of tears! Padmika laughs and said if it wasn’t for His Highness, she wouldn’t have done it. The group laugh over how they have fooled Lady Pin. Back to present again, Pin says so everyone was in on it? Anil says that they just wanted to surprise Pin. Pin says she was so scared and fretful! Anil takes her hand and caresses Lady Pin’s cheek and tells her that she doesn’t have to worry about it anymore. She suggests that she and Lady Pin go take a look at their room.
At the main Palace His Highness, Princess Alisa, Padmika, Prince Arnon, Parawatee, and Prince Anan joke that Lady Pin must have been petrified. They enter the dining area and Prince Anan teases that his father has set up a big stage play this time. His Highness says that it’s because Anil said that she wanted to surprise Lady Pin. He comments that he thought it would be fun so he decided to join her. Princess Alisa says that everyone had to play their role according to his script. They all sit at the table and Padmika says that she still can’t believe that His Highness changed his mind and granted them his approval. He says he trust whole heartedly that Padmika raised Lady Pin well. That’s why he also trusts Lady Pin to take care of Anil until they grow old together. Anan remarks that his father is not against what Anil is, he only worries about her social status. His Highness says no matter what, in the end, Anil will always be his daughter. And he loves her so much that he could never force her to do anything against her will. Prince Anon teases that is he correct to assume that Anil is his favorite. And His Highness says that he loves his children all the same. They all raise a glass of wine and cheers!
In the bedroom at the Pine Palace candles are lit all around and Sasa bunny lays on the bed. Around the bed are photos and various moments from Pin and Ani’s relationship on the nightstands.
Anil stands in the bedroom holding a photo in a frame and smiling. Lady Pin enters the room holding a framed photo with her and asks Anil what she is doing and why she is smiling. Anil tells her that it’s because she is trying to find a place for the picture of Lady Pin she is carrying. Anil asks where she should put it. Pin tells her she can put it anywhere she likes, it doesn’t matter to her as she doesn’t like to look at photos of herself. Anil tells her that she does, and that photo of Pin is cute. Anil places the photo on her nightstand. Lady Pin teases Anil about the photo she is holding of her and then places it on her nightstand. Princess Anil crawls across the bed and comments that she never knew that Pin had kept that photo of her. Lady Pin climbs on the bed too and Anil asks her why she kept that photo of her younger. Pin tells her that she was able to get through the tough times without Anil while waiting for her by looking at Anil’s picture. She was able to get herself to go to sleep by seeing Anil’s face in her picture. Anil looks Pin in the eyes and tells her that from now on, Pin can go to sleep every night with Anil in her arms. Pin says that it’s a dream she never dared to dream. A person like her sleeping by Anil’s side, getting to grow old with Anil. Anil tells her that whatever dream that Pin had, it is real now. Anil asks Pin if she knows that night is the first after they are officially together. Pin questions how is that? Anil tells her it’s the first night that they will start a family together under the acceptance of her father, her mother, and Pin’s aunt Padmika. The two smile and look lovingly at each other. Anil leans in and kisses Pin. They kiss passionately for a few moments. Anil asks slyly if they should start their first night together. Anil leans in again and starts kissing Pin. The two kiss more and they eventually lean back on the bed. Anil begins to undress Pin as they kiss heatedly. Pin and Anil kiss intimately more and Pin begins to unzip Anil and they caress one another. They begin touching one another and Lady Pin rides her hand under Anil’s top and then under her dress. Pin begins to pleasure Anil as they kiss and share intimacy. Anil winds her hand under Pin’s dress and the two pleasure one another. The palpable desire, arousal, love, and romance between them ignites and their passion overflows. Afterwards the two sit clothed on the strewn bed lap to lap with their legs draped over one another holding each other as they kiss one another sweetly. They hug each other tightly in love and affection.
Now everyone sits together celebrating Anil’s birthday. She opens up her gifts as everyone looks on happily. She shows off a purse that was given to her by Prince Anan. She decides to open Lady Pin’s gift next. She carefully and slowly unwraps it and inside there is a jewelry box. When she opens the jewelry box a gorgeous diamond ring is inside and Anil is struck by it. Lady Pin looks over at her adoringly. Anil finally looks over at Lady Pin and smiles brightly at her. Anil asks Pin if she will put the ring on her finger in front of everyone. Lady Pin looks a little startled. His Highness encourages them and says to do it so that he can be their witness. Everyone cheers for them to do it! Anil and Pin stand up and Anil presents the ring to Pin. Pin takes it from her and says that as she has promised, should she find a ring that is deserving of Anil’s finger, she would put it on Anil’s finger and make Anil completely hers. She then asks Anil if she can accept the ring and be hers for the rest of their lives. Anil beams and shakes her head. She tells Pin that in fact she has given her heart and soul to Lady Pin ever since the first day that they met. Lady Pin slides the ring onto Anil’s left ring finger and the two share a happy hug together. Princess Padmika brings out a small cute cake which has figurines on the top that are of Anil and Pin. She says that she made the cake as a gift to Anil and Pia and Prik chime in that they helped. Anil takes the knife in her hands to cut the cake and looks at Pin as she suggests that they cut it together. She tells Pin she would like to share her happiness, all the good things, and her everything in life with Pin. Pin smiles and tells her yes, she would also like to share her happiness and her everything for the rest of their lives. Anil puts her hands to cut the cake, and then Pin settles her hands on top of hers.
Five years later, Lady Pin sits on a bench outside of the Pine Palace and she writes in her diary. After His Highness and Princess Padmika had granted their approval for Pin to stay with Anil at the Pine Palace, Lady Parawatee brought great news of her pregnancy. Everyone sits together and Parawatee reveals that she is three months pregnant. Parawatee smiles happily and everyone fawns over her excitedly. Pin states that everyone’s heart was full, especially Prince Anan, who always wanted a little girl like Anil.
Five more years later, Parawatee, Prince Anan and Lady Pin are having tea on the palace grounds. Lady Pin recounts that Parawatee gave birth to a little girl who looks exactly like her aunt Anil. Just then Anil and Alinlada approach the table and group as they are playing together with banana guns. Pin tells the two to come over and stop playing. Instead, Anil and Alinlada decide to team up and tease Lady Pin. They chase after her and pretend to try and get her. Pin’s voiceover says that Alinlada was named to match her aunt. Pin, Alinlada and Anil chase one another around the grounds and play happily together.
Princess Padmika sits in the Lotus Palace and teaches the servants how to carve fruit. Pin’s voiceover says that Padmika is still doing chores, only she seems to be less strict. She goes on to say perhaps it’s because she and Anil had broken so many rules that she can finally let everything be.
Pia and Prik chase after Alinlada around Pine Palace and Pin comments that the two servants are both now Alin’s minion who run after her all day long. Pin and Anil sit on the couch and open a letter. Pin’s voiceover says that they received a letter from Lady Uangfah telling them how their story gave her courage to refuse the marriage to Lord Muang-Rahm. Pin’s voiceover says that they also heard that Khun Kuea had two children now.
Outside of the Pine Palace Anil gets ready to leave in a car. Pin’s voiceover says that Princess Anil is now a professor at the university teaching full time at her father’s advice. Pin comes out and gives Anil her lunch before she leaves. The voiceover continues saying that apart from her translation work, her main job is to take care of Princess Anil sending her off to work each morning and waiting for her to come home.
In the Pine Palace Lady Pin sits with Alinlada on her lap braiding her hair as Prik tries to get Alinlada to eat more. Pin’s voiceover states that she also babysits her little Princess niece who is always eagerly waiting for Princess Anil to return home.
At night Anil returns home and is greeted by her sweet little niece who is excited and wants to play. Anil asks what she would like to play and Alinlada says she wants aunt Pin to be the mother and aunt Anil to be the father as a family of three. Pin asks Alinlada what else she would like to play and she says riding a horse into the city. They pick Alinlada up and put her on Anil’s back and they chase each other and Prik.
Outside again of the Pine Palace is Lady Pin sitting putting a photo in her diary. Anil comes to sit with her and asks her what she is doing. Lady Pin teases that she isn’t going to tell her. Anil says she thinks it’s time to change the name of the palace from Pine Palace to Pin Palace. Lady Pin questions why. Anil says because Lady Pin has taken care of it so well and she seems to love it more than Anil does. Lady Pin says she likes the old name. Anil drew a picture of the Pine Palace since they were younger. It flashes back to a young Lady Pin and Princess Anil as Anil shows Pin her drawing and says it’s her dream. Young Anil says she will build the palace next to the Lotus Palace so Lady Pin can always see her. Young Anil tells young Pin that if she ever has a house of her own she will ask Lady Pin to live with her. The two smile and share a pinky promise.
Back again in present, Lady Pin now lays down on the bench with her head in Anil’s lap and their hands clasped together. Pin says at first she didn’t understand the meaning of it, until she had the chance to be with Anil at the Pine Palace. It was only then she was able to realize its true meaning. A house that no matter where she looks, she will always see Anil next to her. Anil strokes Pin’s hair. Lady Pin tells Anil she loves her and kisses her hand. Anil smiles and looks down at Lady Pin. She tells her she loves her too, and as long as she is alive, Lady Pin will always be loved. Anil kisses Lady Pin’s hand and then Lady Pin kisses Anil’s hand again.
Anil picks up Lady Pin’s diary and says to let her read it! Pin grabs at it and says no! Anil asks to read a little and Pin chimes back no! Anil tries to grab the diary but Lady Pin snatches it and runs away. Anil smiling and laughing chases after her trying to steal the diary. They playfully run into Pine Palace.
The End.
