Top 3 Moments – 3/24 – 3/29
By: Malasha Parker
Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy, and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments, so keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!
Drama: Good Girls, “Pick Your Poison” – Boundaries are crossed!
This week’s episode of Good Girls brought the long awaited hook-up we’ve all been waiting for. Beth (Christina Hendricks) and Rio (Manny Montana) had some hot and heavy sex in the restaurant bathroom while Beth’s husband was just outside waiting at a table. Even though I know how horrible Rio is I’ve definitely felt the sexual tension between him and Beth since season one. The moment finally came and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately for Beth, it seems Rio is definitely going to hold this little moment over her head for a while. It just keeps getting messier and messier between these two. Everything is so bad, but for some reason I just can’t help to want more of it to happen. That’s the charm of this show!
Comedy: Will & Grace, “The Things We Do For Love” – Wow! It’s a rare double-double.
Wiil (Eric McCormack) gets caught telling Jack (Sean Hayes) how he really feels about Grace’s (Debra Messing) boyfriend Noah (David Schwimmer). Grace overhears everything. Will can see how Grace is giving up everything that she likes just to stay out of arguments with Noah. It may sound like a compromise, but it is clearly not. The show ended with Noah overhearing what Grace had to say about him being far from perfect, an incident that gave us our “double-double.” I really liked this scene because it left the show on a little cliffhanger and it gave everyone a chance to get their grievances off their chest. It’ll be interesting to see where Grace and Noah move on from here.
Sci-fi/Fantasy: Legacies, “There’s Always A Loophole” – Salvatore Stallions let’s ride!
My favorite part out of all the craziness of the episode was when the school fought off the intruders. After being bombarded by their unwanted guests, the kids worked up a plan to get them out. When MG (Quincy Fouse) called for everyone to take action, they did! They showcased all of the different elements they have at the school and how they’re not to be taken lightly. I love that it is simply shown how easy it is for the students to take care of themselves. Even the little kids got to take part. It was a lot of fun to watch and the music choice for the scene really drove it along.
